Default TRACKSIDE HOBBIES SUMMER FEVER SERIES

Well now that the Winter Saturday Fever Series is in the books, it is time to look towards the Spring and Summer and make plans. I had a bunch of racers ask about us holding a Summer Series and I thought why not. Everyone had a great time during the Winter, so lets rock it. So here are the dates.

SUMMER SATURDAY FEVER SERIES AT TRACKSIDE

MAY 26TH
JUNE 9TH
JUNE 23RD
JULY 7TH
JULY 21ST
AUG 4TH
AUG 18TH FINALS. And I am sure we will have some.....TOPPERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Best 4 of 7 rounds count towards the Championship.

All the normal classes will be run.

I planned these dates around my travel schedule so as of today, I am here for all but 1 of them. So I look forward to racing with everyone and having some fun this summer.

Thanks to everyone for their support and making Trackside a great place to enjoy this awesome hobby.

I hope to see everyone on Opening day of our Summer Series.

Thanks
Scotty

Do we need to pre-register for any of this?

Nope, just show up like a normal race day. The SNF during this fall/winter was a blast!

Haven't been to trackside since they ran touring car. What motor 9.5t to much to little for Mod St? Id be running a T4 if it makes a difference. As well as gearing help?

Is there such a thing as 1:10 scale 4x4 blinky buggy?

I'd really like to run a buggy class, but would perfer to stay away from the 2wd buggies and mods.

A couple of guys wanted to run 13.5t spec 4wd buggy at Streamwood and that flopped.. Too small of a class locally to break it up. I know some people do just fine running a 10.5t blinky, you wont be winning champioships but when you look at how fast stock buggy is at trackside, it is humbling. I would give it a try, mod motor or slower... Just have fun and upgrade when you are ready.
