If I were you, and I was planning on showing up Friday morning, I would have a battery charged and ready to go when you get there.

Oh and also to add to an earlier statement, Friday, will most likely be controlled practice all day till 5...and I wouldn't be surprised if Thursday gets that treatment as well.
Thank you, sir! We'll be there tomorrow, I just needed an idea of when we really needed to be at the track on Friday morning.

That's up to you IMO, the line to get on the stand pretty much starts to form when the doors open...

Being that each track seems to do this differently (that I've experienced anyway), will the controlled practice be completely broken down, or will say all the SCTs get grouped together etc.?

I'd love to see this. 4x4sc vs 4wd buggies is just not fun for anyone. Heck, I'd almost suggest splitting stock and mod, but then we basically get into running practice heats of certain classes....

I'm sure Scotty has a plan. He's the man!

I sure hope so. I find it next to impossible to get a clean lap in with my buggy when there is 9 SCT's out on the track.

We had 14 mod buggy's last night crunched in 1 heat. Not bad, we all got through with no damage that I know of.. Its nice when its the same class. Buggy hitting buggy is better than buggy hitting 4x4sc.

That's awesome! You should hear some of the crybabies at my home track when there's more than 10 buggies... and it's 65'x125' with 12' lanes!

I wouldn't mind practicing with out little speed bumps, lol...

In all seriousness, our track had controlled practice a few times where it was split into buggies, 2wd SCT (stock & mod) and then 4x4 SCT. My Losi is a big girl, she can handle some traffic, but I figured I might as well ask.

Controlled practice at Trackside usually means limited run time(5-7 minutes) for no more than 10-12 on the driver stand at one time, not separated by class. If, and only if, this becomes an issue, we can and will split it up between classes.

What about Sportsman? I'm assuming they will get their own practice?
