Thunder Valley Carpet racing in Escanaba MI.
Thunder Valley Carpet racing in Escanaba MI.
Our track size is 50'X 92'. We use the
AMBrc transponder system. We race in Bark River, MI at the High School.
The school is located right next to the Chip In Island and Casino. If coming for a trophy race, I have setup discounted rooms at the Econo Lodge in Escanaba which is located by the Hobby Shop. We use the gym at the school and the cafeteria has an adjoining door to the gym and we use that as our pit area. There is about 30 very large tables that can fit 3 guys each so we have lots of pit space and very excellent lighting in the gym and pit area. Paragon is allowed on the tires and as of right
now, we only run oval, but road course should be added sometime this year. Everyone is encourage to come, regaurdless of skill level. If you have any more questions please email or call.

I race at Thunder Valley during the summer on the dirt track. I havnen't raced on the carpet yet but I might. What class is the most popular their and what does matt, dave etc. run. I need to pick up a vehicle to race and would like to know what is the most popular and competitive. I have a Mini-T I could race but would like to be in a bigger class.

I sent you a PM but your best bet is to call the shop and find out what most of the locals run Or call the guys that have mini t and show up to race.
