For the first time there I thought the track was great, as well as the pits, drivers stand, and food. The one thing I was concerned about was the quality of the racing during the A main rubber. I came up to the same car twice and began to make a fair pass twice only for him to take me out and keep on going.

Other than that I had a great time and will be coming back.

Yup, had a great time as well for my first time at AJ's. However, one thing will keep me from coming back on a regular basis: THE SMOKE. It would be great to have a non-smoking section in the pits for those of us that have allergies to the smoke.

First time at AJ's and I have to say what a great track. Had a great time and I have to say the facility is top notch. My only concern would have to be the smoke. It would be nice to have a no smoking sections considering the allergies I have. Might have to wait till the summer until I come back to run outdoors.

Thanks again for the great time and great racing

Just for the record there were a lot of new faces at AJ's this weekend and your qoute would make it sound like this would be a common scene here. Maybe that guy was new to the track or maybe even new to racing and did not know any better (Just so you know there was 1 guy in the A main that had never raced before, only practiced) although im not saying it was him you are talking about as i did not see the times you are refering to.

Also i have the final results and will have them posted in a little while here

Default A main rubber

Trueracefan,
who was this race guy that bumped you in the A main? It should not matter, but i think it would help this racer understand racing etiquette.

There are no hard feelings, I understand racing is racing. The first time was on the first lap, which, while I was on the inside, fine, stuff happens, thats racing. what was irritating was after I recovered, came around and tried to make a pass only to get bumped off again. Its fine, I know that no one can see everything that was going on and I dont know if this is common place, being the first time I ever came to the track. What I can say is that I never had a problem in qualifying, and that everyone was driving fairly.

Trina, looking at the results it must have been Guy, because I eventually got around whoever it was. Its ok tho. It doesnt really matter to me, it was just kinda wierd that most of the RSJ rubber guys that came had problems with other drivers. (Larry, Jimmy, and myself)

Its not really that big of a deal, I had alot of fun racing in that competitive of a class(5 heats) and plan to come back next weekend.

No big deal i did not mean to sound offended, It was just a little vague for me to understand what the problem was, anyway if it was Guy he is a long time racer and almost always very fair. Enough on that, as it was a great day of racing and when you have that many racers batteling to get those top spots you are bound to have a few wrecks as some get more careless than others. Also I just recently quit smoking so the smoke never bothered me as i was one smoking but now that i have quit it is the only place i can go to get my nicotin without lighting up so it don't bother me.

Yea thatd be the one, Its not really important at all, I mean its a club race, and I had a good time anyway. I'm not mad at all. I think(thinking Back) that I mighta tried to pass in the sweeper both times, A risky move and I took the gamble/loss because of it.

I hope to be back out there this weekend.

Trina? I don't remember seeing a girl in the stock A. Oh wait there was one that came in fifth. lol...just kidding brutha. At least you didn't get 3rd in stock/foams. It's still considered last place when there's only 3 guys.
