Just a reminder for everyone, these are the current SCT truck rules in place at Dirt Heaven. Unless otherwise noted by Jim or Jeff, these rules will be in effect for the Winter Storm Series.

Stock SCT - A SCT with stock electronics or 13.5 bl or 17.5 bl and stock tires and stock body. Must run a 7.2 volt NiMH battery or 7.4 volt Lipo battery.
Stock SCT tire rule: Any of the stock SCT tires that came with a SCT kit/RTR; (Slash/SC10/Blitz/Strike)

Mod (Open) SCT - A SCT with any SCT Tires and any body made for a SCT and any electronics/motor.
Mod SCT tire rule: Any stock/optional/aftermarket SCT Tire (No 1/8 scale tires/wheels)

SCT = specifically designed and sold as a pure SCT. (Traxxas Slash, Associated SC10, HPI Blitz, Losi Strike, Kyosho Ultima SC)

WINTER STORM UPDATE!!!!!

There seems to be more and more 4x4 SCT around each week. Get your friends together and bring them out to the Winter Storm Series!!!!
We need 5 to make their own class (to be eligible for gift card, and corner marshal purposes). I know they're out there, so bring'em out!

The Slash 4x4, Ofna Hyper 10 SC, and Jammin SCRT10 are all legal trucks. Must use tires/wheels specifically designed for SCT. No 1/8 scale tires/wheels.

The attached flyer is updated with the 4x4 SCT class.

Hope to see everyone there

So what class would an SC10 running personal electronics, 27-turn ROAR Stock brushed motor, 7.4v LiPo, Associated Championship body, and HPI Maxxis Trepador tires be included with?

Mike,
I don't think anyone would have an issue with the Associated Championship body, but if your tires are the optional Maxxis Trepador S compound, those would be illegal for the Stock SCT class. Otherwise, everything else you mentioned is legal for Stock SCT class.

Just to clarify for everyone:
Stock SCT tire rule: Any of the stock SCT tires that came with a SCT kit/RTR; (Slash/SC10/Blitz/Strike)

Mod SCT tire rule: Any stock/optional/aftermarket SCT Tire (no 1/8 scale tires/wheels)

(I'll update the previous posting on SCT rules also)

Yeah, the "stock body" thing kinda threw me. And the Trepadors I have are the standard belted model that would've come with the Blitz ("D" compound I think it's called)

Now I just gotta get on the horn with ZTMfg and see if they can get me some wheels in time. Then it's just a matter of getting my butt outta bed early Saturday morning three weeks in a row!

Thanx for the info, looking forward to the show!

I've learned its really easy to get my butt out of bed early to go racing, but really hard to get my butt out of bed early to go to work!

I would smack talk, but I'm not going to win anything so it would be pointless. I will be there for the first race though!!!

I'm shooting for the first and third race, week 2 is the International Cycle Show in Chicago.

Otherwise ZT says they're working on getting me a set of wheels just for the Storm, so I should be good to go
