Velineon slash is open CORR class, sc8 will race with the monster trucks and other nitros unless there is enough of each to run separate. I am not a race director there but I am pretty sure that is how they would separate them.

Is there parts at the track or do you need to run to the hobbyshop?

No parts at the track, but few have broken anything you wouldn't normally keep in your toolbox anyway. Track is driver/car friendly.

Store is only a few miles away if needed.

Default track prep

Tonight Bill and I are going to work on the track from around 4:00 until around 8. We are going to fix the area that captures all the water in the hairpin turn. Anyone with a good tiller, shovel, strong back, and weak mind can come out to help if available.

Thanks

Just a few questions I tried to read through all the posts but didn't find my answers. We're thinking about coming down from Coleman (100 mi north) this weekend to race. Are the tire specs open in the open short course class, example proline bowties? What is the stock gearbox class? Is there a class for a mod RB5 buggy? Thanks

Posted question-
Are the tire specs open in the open short course class, example proline bowties?

Stock Slash is stock, others go to Modified CORR (Mod Slash and SC10)

What is the stock gearbox class?
1/10 trucks and buggies (like XXXT or 10T4 or their buggy counterparts.

Is there a class for a mod RB5 buggy?
No, short course, not enough space for the big rides in race mode.

Is the track open for practice other times?
No, sorry. Gates open at 10 day of racing.

Thanks all,

Bill

PS- track work is done and subject to a few touch ups ready to run on Saturday.

Default 4th of July race

Hi everyone, I'll be there Sat. and I'll be bringing a special guest along with me.

Wayne buddy, save me a spot next to you, so we can teach this new person how to drive an RC truck. I hope to be there by 11:00.

This weekend is looking good. Weather still looks promising, lots of people letting me know they will be coming in.

Plans for the day are-
Gates open at 10
Registration open from 11 to 12:30
Registration closes at 12:30
Racing begins at 1
Three qualifiers and a main.

Points to note, I've renamed the Mod Short Course class (formerly Modified CORR, not sure who told me to do that). Plus those normally put in Monster Truck class it has been renamed to "Open Class".

I will break down like vehicles appropriately. Please note, with the tweaks to the track I will be looking to put 5-6 regularly in heats and up to 7 or more in mains. The space is there and so is the head count.

Each PAID registrant will get a ticket for a free burger on HTO. Don't worry, I'm not cooking.

Between the first and second round of qualifying, we will be handing out our last season trophies (about 10 minutes while the track is watered and prepped for the second round.

All trophies from the days racing will be handed out AFTER the last main.

Thanks all

Bill

I think an rb5 is a 1/10 buggy electric.
