The ABC store your talking about is in downtown waukesha right?

Yes, as a matter of fact we did lay down a dirt oval in the back. We have been having a blast with it so far, and we do get an 1/18th scale turnout for dirt oval.

Unfortunately, ABC in downtown Waukesha is closed, or is closing it's doors.

If you are interested in 1/18th scale dirt oval, we race every Wednesday on the oval. Right now, the 1/18th scale class we run is an open chassis class meaning any 1/18th scale car that's available, any body, any 1/18th scale specific tires, but we are limiting the motor to the stock Associated motor. However, if there is enough interest, we would also run a modified 1/18th scale class which would basically be anything goes when it comes to motors.

Also, we are planning on running the Team Losi mini-slider( http://www.teamlosi.com/Products/Def...rodID=LOSB0205 ) as soon as it's released. I believe that we have 10 on back-order, and most of them are already spoken for, so hopefully it get's released when they say it will so we can get that class going as well

Next time I'm near Brookfield I'll have to check it out. Sadly our race day is Weds too, once the sliders are in I'll have to run it around down there for sure. Still $5 to practice on off racedays?

I've never been to a dirt oval track. For the 1/18th at trackside what vehicles would I bring? My on road Xray M18's or my rc18 buggies and trucks?

Sounds like it's a smooth non-bumpy surface...?

I'm not too sure if the on-road X-ray would work, but the RC18 buggy or truck, would be perfect. The surface is fairly smooth, the 1/18th scale cars that have been running oval have had no real problems with it being too bumpy or rutted up.

Buck that would be sweet to have a specific 18th scale off-road night on the carpet this fall and winter. Maybe just have to advertise it here and see how it rolls out.

Your mod class talk is gonna make me buy a brushless system for the V!

I gotta get crackin' to get ready for next Wed! Come on down everyone!
