We are going to try to get an early start tomorrow, as we do have alot of work to do. We are going to try to be there around 8 ish, but for sure we will be there by 10 am.

Work went ok today like I said earlier, the track was extremely hard after all the racing we have had these past two months. We didn't get as far as we usually would because of this, so we can use all the help we can get tomorrow(Sunday).

Good to hear, Snowy! I'd like to make it in on the 9th for a little carpet practice prior to the last leg of the Hurricane Race down at The Track... that is, assuming I don't just race down there on the 7th as a warm up.

I thought the oval race was only on Saturday (oops)

Well, anyway, us "Vintage Guys" will once again be doing our thing on the oval this weekend, anyone that want's to join in is more than welcome, the rules are: Trans-Am rules 21.5 motor, 4.2 min. gear ratio, all other TA rules apply. NO programmable speed controls such as Tekin, Mamba etc. (basically LRP, GTB etc.) BoLink Monte-Carlo, Talledega, or Superbird bodies only. Remember, this is just for fun, there are no points or awards for this class, as it is just a Trackside house class, just something to let us put on a little show.

I have an extra superbird body (painted) if someone want's to run, I may have more bodies ready if more people want to run.

See ya there

It may be just on Saturday. However I am not planning on doing the road course layout until Monday afternoon. So it will be a weekend of carpet oval at Trackside.

I have not run oval since April of 2003.

I think I'll try this Vintage class, since I am feeling a bit Vintage myself with all the rust and cobb webbs. Could I run a Miller American paint sceme from the late 70's on my Bolink Monte?

Of course....Yeah I forgot to mention that the bodies should be painted like the Winston Cup cars of the 60s or 70s, the paint should fit the era, but doesn't necessarily have to fit the manufacturer. Just make it look good.

It's nice to finally have you on board Marty....It should be fun

Not sure yet Pete, Scotty said we could run these cars again, but I never got any other information, I will have an answer for you as soon as I talk to someone at Trackside today or tomorrow.
