I just wanted to verify that any and all gearing changes in stock SCT is legal? My slash with the 17.5 was running mighty warm with a 28 pinion and I just wanted to make sure I wasn't going to be breaking any rules before I start spending money on smaller pinion(s).

As far as I know, the Traxxas S-1 is not legal for Stock SC. I do not of any one running the S-1 Compound tire.

I do believe that any tire from the 'stock' kits (slash, sc10, blitz) are legal in stock class. Since Traxxas came out with a new compound of there original design slash tire that maybe a question for Scotty or Buck to answer. I would assume that they are not legal. Main reason for the stock class is for anyone that buys these trucks can run them from 'out of the box' and be compeditive in this class without having to change a thing. They are legal in Mod. Matt was running them on Saturday Night.
