First of all, it was shorts...
Second of all that was the lead image for our boats buying guide...

Thirdly, it just goes to show that no-one gets more into the hobby than me!

Well I'm almost dried out if that's what you mean...

I'm gearing up for the Horizon Hobby Shootout race coming up next weekend down here that I am helping Sonny Brown run. From there I get ready to go back to iHobby to do videos again like I've done the last 2 years. From here, no idea.

So I picked up a checkpoint saddle lipo thinking it would go into my 501x.....um maybe if the reartop deck was 4mm higher!!!
I guess I'll have to wait for the reedy saddle lipo.
The checkpoint saddle lipo is 30 mm tall versus the reedy which is 23 mm tall.

Matt, the TrakPower 3200 mAh saddles or new SMC saddles should work too to give you some more choices.

Ok, so what the deal with touring now?
I know touring pan cars were starting to come back into vogue last spring, and I see some talk about them around the web.

Am I leaving my gear in storage for another year till all this get's sorted out?

Last time I walked away after buying a setup, I came back and everyone was running brushless. This time I expect lipo's are gonna be the norm.

Is 4wd touring a thing of the past now?

Default Tires

So I heard something today when I was at Harbor Hobbies, that this guy heard something about no more slicks on the dirt. Is this true? If it is, what is the tire to run for the trucks and 2wd buggies?

I should also clarify that the only class that has a no slick rule is Slash. But for regular trucks/buggies/4wheelers the rule is round rubber tires.
