Remember this coming Saturday (May 3rd) is the Off-Road Fun Night. I believe we will be starting around 4:00pm, and completely goofing off until 6:00pm, then eating pizza, then goofing off some more until about 9pm.
This will not be a normal race night, it will be completely the opposite. Buck and I are planning a bunch of fun races, be sure to attend if you can! I don't want to tell you what things we will be doing because I don't want anybody practicing, but it will be things like a race with no marshalls, a race where we run the track backwards, a big jump contest and stuff like that. Even when you aren't racing you will probably be watching because there will be a lot of stuff to laugh at in each event. I hope to have a team race with 16 trucks at a time, it will be scored as 4 teams of 4 drivers on each team. Every lap counts, so not breaking will be crucial.
For the 16 truck race, we may have 4 captains and they will pick the teams. I would make Sunderladge, Just, Donut and Achterkirchensteiner the captains if they can all make it.

gearing for 17.5 brushless
Hi, just trying to figure out the final drive ratio I need if I am running a 17.5. On Novak's sight it says 3.5fdr for a 17.5 but that seems almost impossible to get on my jrx-s. Right now I have it running at a fdr of 4.8 (1.83 X 118/45) and it seems to be keeping up and hasn't been overheating. Is it ok to run it like this or should I try and get it closer to 3.5????
