Oh no, it's open for anyone to sign up. The race does have an entry limit and tends to fill relatively quick once registration is open. So don't wait until the last minute if you want to attend.

For Paul and anyone else that is new, the race schedule will probably be as follows:
Wed - practice
Thursday - practice
Friday -Quals 1 and 2
Saturday - Quals 3 and 4
Sunday - Mains
you don't actually have to attend all the qualifiers to do well. It will be "qual points". Your 2 best rounds in relation to the field will set the mains. Theoretically you could show up on Saturday and still make the A Mains.
