So what is everyone running for 12th scale? Stock or 19t?

Also would it be a possible to put up the road coarse for about 20 minutes prior to the first race, so we can practice.

Currently, Prostar's 12th scale class is 27-turn stock only.

As far as an earlier track setup, that ones up to people alot more important than me.

jamcar 11-01-2007 05:25 PM

If you are a club member get a few people to help you change from oval to road course or ask some of the other road course people if they are ready to practice so we dont have just one or two cars out on the track. let the others know that you would like to set up the road course just ask and things can be changed around you may need to help. If everyone helps out a little things can be changed over in just a couple min.

Scrad 11-01-2007 05:29 PM

Cool, I know there was talk that there was no practice for the road course guys last week. But it did sound like setting up the road coarse 20 minutes before the first race would work the best for most of us. Thanks.

carnut54 11-04-2007 06:46 PM

Just to let you all know I am Back

I will be there this week for the first time this year. Hope my new setup works with little problems. See you all then

Wednesday Night ProStar Racing

Hi Scrad,
Prostar Racing Club invites you to join us every Wednesday night at Victory Hobbies. We would appreciate you joining in the fun.

To answer your questions:
The track is oval until around 6:30. At that time, Jim (the ProStar announcer) asks anyone who is interested to switch over to road course. This season, we always go in this practice sequence because our first race is always a road course. Happens, two weeks ago, it was announced, but no one chose to switch it. So it remained oval until just before race time.

Brief note on the talk you heard. Life is what you make it, you can sit and watch it go bye, or you can step in and make a difference! Have Fun!!!

Nice to see the point crew show up. Brings a few more very good sedan racers. Dan had a great night, showed how to make some speed in 19 turn oval.

Scrad 11-08-2007 03:20 PM

Thanks for letting us setup the road coarse and get some practice in. I had a good time and I plan on making the trip back. Thanks.

R/C Anonymous 11-08-2007 03:52 PM

Good race!!

I hear rumor of another fast guy starting back up in sedan next week also. :D

carnut54 11-08-2007 07:11 PM

I have to agree that Dan was Very Fast. Just don't know how he can run the gearing he was using. But it sure worked for him. We all had a good time and that is what it is all about.

Anyone know if Losi makes stabilizer bars for the XXX-S?

I've seen them for the ZRXS, but not the older stuff.

Thanks.

Wednesday - - Is it Here Yet?

Looks like I got everything back together after hammering the wall wide open last week. Car just made a right hand turn on it's own. I rebinded the receiver to the radio. I am anxious to check it out.

Guess I am not woman. Shopping every week gets old. Does anyone have ideas for this week's Raffle? Let me know. Would you rather do the raffle every other week? Looking forward to your feedback.

Congrats to Dan Jan for his win in the 1/10 Nascar.

If you are into racing RC come on out and do some racing with some great people and have some FUN.

;):ha:Great turn out for racing. We could use allot more to make it more fun.
The 19 turn Oval guys just hit the 3.9 lap. Way to go Cody.
The 19 turn 4 wheel drive oval class is fast and fun also.
If you are bored and want to have some fun come on down to Victory on Wednesday night to join in.
We do it for the fun of it.
Hope to see you there.

Carnut I think we get the message you didnt have to post it three times
how are you going to slow cody down? maybe when his dad isnt looking tweek the car a little.

carnut54 12-07-2007 07:36 PM

:oSorry about the 3 times but that was because I am still shacking from that fun racing we had. I think we just have to turn a little bit under the body that should do it.:sneaky:
Or wait no I will keep that one to myself until later.

would anyone be intersted in running 10th pancar brushless 13.5 after Xmas? If there would be enough to run a class I will buy a brushless system.

Hock 12-10-2007 08:58 AM

AFTER THE NEW YEAR WE WILL BE RUNNING THE BRUSHLESS CARS ON THURSDAY NIGHTS FOR ANYONE INTERESTED. WE RUN 13.5 AND 17.5 IF ENOUGH WE'VE ALWAYS HAD THE 13.5 AND I WANT TO SEE THE 17.5 CLASS PICK UP

roadrashracing2 12-11-2007 02:51 PM

sorry troy I'm not going to make it tommarrow.

That's ok, maybe some other time.

Maybe we can get the mini-mod class for the second season with Prostar.

Anyone else interested?

roadrashracing2 12-11-2007 06:03 PM

That would be fun I would prefer oval in stead of road course that the used to do.

carnut54 12-11-2007 07:54 PM

I would be interrested if we get enough people to run. The more the better.
If not I will stay with the 19 turn oval. That is still fun and fast.

Ok who wants to run the Brushless 4 cell 13.5 pan car oval on Wednesday night. We need everyone to speek up and say yes or no.
I am a yes.
This will be talked about next week I think and we will decide then if we are going to do it or not.
So if you want to do this speak up or forever hold you peace.

Was a good night of racing. Had a good time dispite a very ill handling car

How did the vote come out for the 13.5 or Brushless class i didn't hear:confused:

Great season of racing Everyone.
Now we get to look forward to the 2nd season of racing.
Hope to see more racers for the 2nd half.

COME ON DOWN AND HAVE SOME FUN
Why sit at home and watch the tube when you could get out and have some fun with other racers

As for the Vote it came out as
Yes we will be running 13.5 but also we will let the 19 turns run with us until the people can purchase the new systems. This might take some time but we do not care. We understand that money is tight.I think it would be nice also if the 13.5 guys that would be running if they get to fast would gear down to stay with the 19 turn people to make it more fun for everyone. That is what we do this for . FUN ,FUN ,FUN.
It was nice to see the Big 13.5 guys run and it sure looked like fun. I will be running 13.5 for the next season after the new year. I like the NO WORK ON MOTORS anymore.
More time to have FUN
Later
Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year to ALL

Troy_Konitzer 12-23-2007 07:18 PM

Are there any objections to running a 13.5 brushless in the rubber sedan road course class for the second season?

carnut54 12-23-2007 07:36 PM

Hi Troy
All you have to do is get three people to run a class. I did not run sedan last season.
You would have to bring it up with the sedan people.

Classes for next season as of now that I know of is

13.5 or 19 turn Oval pan car. All will run together.
10.5 sedan oval nascar body
I think 1/12 road course
Stampead Truck
The rest I am not sure on .
Maybe someone else will step in here with the classes I don't know.
Hope you stop down and do some racing.
