Ohh shooot guys. I forgot about one important item. I AM going to leave it up to the hosting track, whether or not they want to put out a new layout for this race. Because of the time consuming operation of a new layout, i feel it's the owners call on whether or not they should drop a new layout for this racing series.

Thanks for the responses!

later,

Also, as for the tech thing. I am all in for the honor system. Only class that may have problems would be the stock motor classes anyways....If per chance there was a suspicion or your buddy is trying to get away with something. We would definetely hold the right to tech your car for legality.

Any other thoughts on this?

Yeah, if your car is faster than mine it's definetly illegal! j/k I agree with the weight but you are probably right about most guys being within legal limits anyway. I have seen a lightweight experiment carried out and below legal weight the car got slower and more delicate. The only advantage was that he could practice for a half hour + if he didn't break.

I think it's up to the track owners too (about a new layoout) but I can't see why a track owner wouldn't want to take full advantage of a big turnout to do a new layout and impress as many racers as possible. Unless the existing layout was pretty new anyway.

Jan. 20th should be ok for Dirtheaven,I'll check with Jim tomarrow just to make sure.

Wolfden, Are we still going with a start time around noon to allow for travel time?

Also email me a flyer when you get it done so we can send it out to our racers.

Does RCP or trackside have a mini class on thier regular race days,If so We should add a open mini class into the series.

RCP doesn't have much for a turnout for mini's usually. Once in a while there'll be a class, but rarely.

Ahhh yes...The start time is going to be at noon. Which will allow racers to travel in that day. Glad to see someone on there toes.

I've tried to cover all the bases and i'm excited to hear that we are well on the way for the first date being set. Eric at R/C performance has also semi confirmed the second date.

Most importantly. Are any of the dates conflicting with other races we should be aware of in the area...or nationaly?

We could add a mini class for fun...as a run what you brung? RCP doesn't have a following in this yet. maybe we'll get something started. I just hope this doesn't make for too long a day of racing by adding classes. What does everyone else think about this? I enjoy the big one day races over the weekend races...it's hard to get away for two or three days.

Nate I'd say consider mini's at any of the tracks, but instead of 3 makes a class do like 5 makes a class since it's a bigger race.

Are any volt LiPos allowed? e.g. Can I run a 3 cell (12.6 v LiPo) as long as I meet ROAR weight? What about a 4 cell LiPo? (16.8 v).
