A RC Series Like NO Other!!!!
I was sitting around and thinking how can I make the Khaos Series a series like no other.....then it hit me. A series in which you don’t only receive individual points, but team points as well.
Layout
100 entries ( This will be a combo of 20 teams of 5 and/or single racers)
5 racers (with 2 subs)
5 vehicles (Any combo of 1/10 mod electric, 1/10 nitro, MT, Arena Truck, 1/8 Buggy)
5 classes (1/10 mod electric, 1/10 nitro, MT, Arena Truck, 1/8 Buggy)
4 rounds (best 3 out of 4)
4 different tracks
1 championship (top 10 teams)
1 team champion
5 class champions (1/10 mod electric, 1/10 nitro, MT, Arena Truck, 1/8 Buggy)
Format
2 rounds of qualifiers (using qualifier points in which go towards you your over all points as well as you’re teams overall score.)
Mains for each class with bump ups (1/10 mod electric, 1/10 nitro, MT, Arena Truck, 1/8 Buggy)
All qualifiers will be 5 min
Round 1 – Round 4
Electric A mains will be 7 min
Nitro A mains will be 20 min
B, C, D .... mains will be shorter than the A
Championship
Electric A mains will be 7 min
Nitro A mains will be 40 min
B, C, D .... mains will be shorter than the A
Points System
Each team member will be awarded points for their qualifier run to place them in their mains. Also points will go towards teams overall points for the round.
Each team member will also be awarded points for the performance in their main. Those points will then be added to their series totals as well as to the teams overall for the round.
The teams will then be awarded points that will go towards their series points.
Hint: Teams that have a vehicle in each class 1/10 mod electric, 1/10 nitro, MT, Arena Truck, 1/8 Buggy have a better chance to get more points than a team that has 5 of one vehicle.
Awards
There will be a certificate/plaque handed out to all the teams and individuals at each round.
Before the Championship Race all the racers and teams that qualified for the Championship will vote on what prizes they want to compete for prior to the event.
Each class champion will receive a plaque as well as a prize.
So far this is what I have come up with. Let me know your thought and ideas.

I have never heard of a series like this curious to see if and how it works. What tracks will be part of the 4 tracks. Did Northern ever get new software it seemed like they were having alot of problems with it and alot off pissed off people the way they were running races?

Not to be a party pooper, but I wouldn't waste yer time. It's way to complex. It will also be to hard for people to make that big of a team. We tried to run a race a few years ago called the scoot fer loot. That was only 10 teams of 3 people. It was electric touring car on pavement any motor, any tire, any battery, 1 transponder. The race was supposed to be 2hours 40 minutes long with a $300.00 payout for the winning team. Long story short, FLOP! People don't like money er sumthing.

Thank you very much for your input, but I do see a few flaws in the attempt at running this type of an event.
Scoot for Loot
1. It was narrowed down to only 1 type of vehicle.
2. It looks like it was more of a strictly team event.
3. There was only 1 event.
VS
The Khaos Series
1. It is open to 5 different types of vehicles (1/10 mod electric, 1/10 nitro, MT, Arena Truck, 1/8 Buggy) (1 electric and 4 nitro)
2. Not only is it a team racing but individual as well. You will be able to compete for the individual championship for each of the classes also.
Although the team championship is where the big prizes will be.
3. The Series will consist of 4 different rounds at 4 different tracks in 4 different parts in Wisconsin.
Once again thank you very much for the input, but as you can see this is a little different than the other attempt.
I have spent the last couple of weeks running through all the scenerios in my head. That will make this series work.
So The Khaos Series will be coming in 07 so be ready
Thank you

This sounds like a good idea but I would mention that of the team of 5 each racer needs to run one class only. That way marshaling will be done EVERY time.

You might as well just send me bradley and Toebe the money. More money split just 3 ways. of course ron will get a cut as team manager.
