Extreme Off Road R/C in Beaver Dam, Wi

Extreme Off Road R/C is a new track that is opening for racing on Saturday, May 6th in Beaver Dam, Wi. If you dont know where Beaver Dam is, it is about 40 miles north/ north east of Madison. About 45 miles south of Oshkosh. Located next to Highway 151.
This track is located at 320 Cooper St. Take G exit north into Beaver Dam. The second street to the left is Cooper St. After the second street on your left on Cooper watch on your right, behind Griswold Automotive. I plan on having a sign at the entrance to the track
The track itself measures 100'x 65'. It has 10 jumps, mole hills and a "valley of death". It was finished this past Saturday but the drivers stand still needs paint and we are waiting for the AMB system to arrive (Monday the 24th according to AMB). We will be using R/C Scoring Pro and only will use personal transponders. I will have a couple extra transponders to rent out at $5 per day.
The classes we plan on running are : Monster truck
1/8th scale buggy
1/10th scale gas truck
1/10th electric truck
If more classes show up we will run them as long as there are atleast 3.
There will be electric at the track. Bring your own pit tables. Race fee will be $10. This will get you entered for 3 heats and a main. Gates will open at 9 AM. Racing starts at 1PM and should be done around 5pm.
We are a relaxed group. It will be run prompt but not over rushed. FUN is the main idea.
Racing will be each Saturday except for rain. In case you are wondering on whether we are racing you can call my cell phone at 920 948 4484 and ask. If you are driving a ways, please call ahead so you dont get a suprise. we are looking forward to a great off road summer. Chuck

Chuck your wife is gonna be pissed but hey less grass to cut. The subdivision commitee must love nitro cars in your back yard.

We'll try to check that out if the gas gets a little cheaper :(

Hey Karl! The subdivision should like the lack of misquitos while we run though.

Well. Just came back from the new Extreme Offroad R/C track. Did some track work. Tried out the new AMB/ R/C Scoring pro in practice and all went well. The drivers stand is up and painted (thanks Paul) and we did a mock race to see the system work. The "valley of death" is jumpable with a monster truck. It was fun, then it rained and had to quit earlier than planned. But the rain will definately knit the track together more. Pauls Dad is going to get the electric post out there hopefully this week. If you come to the opener on May 6th, bring a extention cord and table and a plan to charge off your car battery just incase it doesnt get completed. If you look at the drivers stand, you may recognize it from the Road Rage raceway in GreenBay. That is where Paul bought it. Nick took some pictures of the track from different angles. Check it out. :)

That looks awesome! I can't wait! That valley of death looks like a doubles I saw elsewhere one time...and I could clear it with a Stampede or a Gearbox. Looks sweet!
