The cup joint is where the dogbones sit in. When you go brushless you will also need some new hub bearings, because the plastic bushing cannot go as fast a brushless and will put too much strain on the cup joints. When you go to www.half-8.com , make sure too search for past posts, because that is where most of the information is.

Adrian the cup joints are a little peice (only if you are using dogbones will you have these seperate, if you run CVD's the cup joint and dogbone are connected) that when you take it out of the C-hub it is like a cup without a base.

Ah ok i see,
I'm just wondering about the number of Nimh i could use on the mamba systems,
I keep reading 4 cell but still believe that it might be too much..
I was thinking 1 scale down to about 12.3 volt or 13.5 volt.

Nimh are great to use, although a bit heavy, i was going to make like a connector, which would allow me to remove and add cells as i wish to the pack, (like lego )

If you dont want to worry about pack maintenence, grab a LiPo, just like an 850mah 2 cell, inexpensive.

What would people think of the nitro version?
I wouldn't mind picking one up.
I'm fed up of batteries and battery chargers lmao!

Nitro mini's are a pain in the but. Man get a decent charger and you should be fine, something like a Swallow 2 or Swallow advance is an awesome charger.

+ With the nitro you will have to upgrade every part to something indestructable incase you crash...

Thats what i was thinking,
I've had the charger for quite a while now,
It just seems to be hitting FULL charge status WAY too soon
The swallow 2 would be good,
No need for a power supply and I can charge up the lipo when i get it.

I will test these batts and decide from there to use lipo i think too!

I'm currently developing a 3 stage setup guide

PIMPED OUT

PERFORMANCE ORIENTATED

BUDGET BUGGY!

It will have a how to on what parts and where to get them.

I'm also going to have a competition for the mini inferno guys,
its either going to be the MOST ORIGINAL BODY SHELL
or
MOST HOPPED UP MINI INFERNO!

Should be a bit of fun!

Default Hey

I'm thinking i'd get quite a bit more interest if the site was a bit more orientated to MICRO scale...

But i'm not sure what to do hahaa.
Gotta do it now while the members are less.

Say like rc18t and Mini Z, and mini inferno?
