Thought there were no site focusing only on the famous Optima series by Kyosho... And therefore TheOptimaHouse is born!

Nice site.. I still have the turbo optima I raced in 87-88. Won a lot of races with it.

Is this a shot made in the 80's? it looks a bit faded

oho T Op with MID SE's platinum shocks!!! did you run it with 8.4V? Those tires were made for asphalt running?

That was taken in 88. Had to scan the old photo. We stuck some aluminum wheels on it for the pics. Had the light nylon wheels on it when it was raced.
The top pic is from the same date as the first one. The chevy pu is what it looks like now.

Waffles were for the street. This car never touched dirt. It was my dad's- I have the TOMSE that I raced here in florida at various tracks. The shocks came of my SE. He had it to run with me in the driveway but never raced. I ran my SE into the ground! I own the car now and it's just something to remind my of all the back in the day times . The Se is up in my attic, in horrible shape. Old school kyosho rules, One day i'll set it back up to drive again.
