tamiya kits are as fun to build as they are to run.
i got the monster beetle for xmas last year.
i had one back in the 80's that i raced at the track.
the new kits differentials are better and will
last as long as you run brushed motors only.
i know back in the 80's thorp made an upgraded diff for tamiya cars.
it was a little expansive back then.

I built a Grasshopper and a Hornet. Brought me right back to 1985. They are cheap, fun, and realistic.

If anyone is interested in the Monster Beetle or Blackfoot, definitely check out www.miponline. com web sight for their new ball diff for these kits. Right now they have discount codes, and free shipping going on. Its a win, win to fix a problem area in those R/c's.

Thanks, i was thinking wanted to put the Wild Willy 2 into PC online racing simulator so everyone could race online. Its raining season here so i think best to have something to race around virtually, collection of classic Tamiya model in action virtually. Plus can do some custom paintjobs and mods without ruining my real WW2. I did few conversion of R/C model into virtual sim, should be easy to do since i did some on Kyosho's and Traxxas.
I saw on your video link that this is for 4x4 Evo. Isn't that an ancient game?

I think i'll make two types of Wild Willy 2: The original and the limited edition TAMIYA chrome.

True, its very ancient game but its easy to do moddings and implement custom made models especially R/C off-road car/trucks/crawlers. Last public copy of the game still available at http://vales.com/evo2

I'll have to check this game out when I get my computer set back up. A Wild Willy would be awesome!
What program do you model in for this game?

I'm using Z-modeler (http://www.zmodeler2.com/), you can download it for free. It contain some support to export your models into various game eg GTA. I saw some guy at track mania build TAMIYA LUNCH BOX playable in PC here: (http://www.trackmania-carpark.com/car.php?id=2529)
Right now busy finishing my rock crawler models as posted on my Twitter. Then probably next week will start Wild Willy 2 hopefully finished and free public download before Christmas. Need extra work on coding to make it wheelie

My first hobby grade RC was a TA-02T chassis with a baja F150 body. I LOVED that thing. Unfortunately I chopped it up and turned it into a battle bot for a high school project. If they re released that kit, I would buy it tomorrow. Then I might try an convince my local track to let it run with the 4x4 SCT class and see how the old girl would do.
For the record, there was no racing with my original, just lots and lots of battery packs of fun. The old mechanical speed control, being able to slam it in full reverse at high speed. Oh the physics I learned about. And the darn thing never did break... anything.
