Seeing you have a similar layout to mine Pro4, have you thought about using a shorty and shifting electronics and weight around?

Are you out of your mind? Did you know that you can have sort of a stagger effect with the rotation of the fan blades on top of the dual magnetic field boost? For example i use a fan blowing towards the bell on brushed motors spinning the other way to cancel torque steer on shaft drive cars.

I have, but staying with the 1380 limit is hard enough without a shorty

I can live with 50/50 49/51

Thanks, yep balance is pretty good. One more thing, I noticed that your fast laps weren't as fast as second place. Would you say, driver or equipment is at fault? Not knocking your skills, sincere question.

In this race. Equipment. The gentleman in second is a very good driver. If not for a few mistakes I would not have caught him

He is running the new Awesomatic, Alum chassis, TSR 21.5T the one and all the high dollar stuff.

The radio he uses cost more than my kit.

The TB03 is a fanatic car, but it is still 10 yrs old.

I was running my fan like that with my Novak motor without issues, but when I switched to the Fantom fr-1 v1 I had to move the fan a good distance behind the endbell

Interesting.
Still, being a 10 year old car isn't a metric. There hasn't been any breakthrough regarding suspension geometry and things have been stagnant since the 415 or so. I mean, there are some things that new designs don't take advantage of but yeah, once things start to being understood the old cars have no chance of keeping up.

Thinking of grabbing a TC4 FT off a mate and trying in Mod TC class as we run foam tyres but concerned that the ball diff might not be up to the task ......😮

Rebuild it with the steel outdrives and it should be fine.
