Losi - JRX2 and JRX Pro SE: with the persistence of rere's, have to wonder why Horizon hasn't jumped on the bandwagon. do they own the licensing to the pre-acquisition models(?).
Victor - Super Hi-IQ: fully updated for today's battery chemistries, BL motor analyzer and a large color screen - but keeping the awesome keypad.
Got a text from my local'ish track/shop (Revelation Raceway) that they have a JJ Ultima in stock with one being held for me this week. It got me thinking back to this thread...from almost 6 years ago!
#KYO Update - Purchased both the Ultima and Fantom re-re's when they came out. Will have the JJ Ultima this week. WTG Kyosho.
#AE Update - Still would purchase. Not holding my breath.
#Losi Update - OK, yes I bought the 1/16 JRX2, however that really doesn't count (at least IMO). Still faintly holding out hope

Support your local track/shop(s)!

For anyone posting on the original circulation of this thread, did any of your desires get fulfilled (which)? What, 6 years later, would you (now) like to see re-re'd? For anyone more recently joining RCTech, what would you like to see re-re'd in 2024?

go ahead and call me crazy. but i think Traxxas might try something next year sense it will the 30th anniversary of the bandit/rustler/stampede. maybe a special edition black plastics original body/paint job release or something to celebrate it. if they don't they're missing a golden opportunity. it'll also be the 25th anniversary of the t-maxx.

not sure if it classifies as a want it to happen or think it will happen but Tamiya Juggernaut. Tamiya is running out of vintage kits to rerelease and the Jug is now over 20 years old. it has to come down the pipe sooner or later.

Well, 6+ years later, not bad so far. Have the Ultima and Fantom sitting in a closet and just pre-ordered the RC10T. Now I/we need Horizon to get on board (and not in 1/16 scale).

i would normally be excited about this. but $380 and limited edition. overly expensive and no support. it's not something you can use. Tamiya, Kyosho, and Schumacher have there fingers on the pulse of hobbyists. mild upgrades, a lasting shelf life, and support. Associated has its finger far away from the pulse and up it's nose apparently. this is just frustrating. been waiting for an RC10T rerelease for years and this is just a let down. i probably shouldn't have been as captivated as i was seeing as how the original rerelease of the RC10 and Worlds Car went a few years ago. but iv got a long history with the RC10T, iv been driving one for 30 years.
i feel like they want us to sit back and wait for the RC10GT next. or maybe they'll do something weird and do the DS Qualifier. but i, and i think a lot of us at this point, are just to disenfranchised to care.

Thinking about purchasing the RC10T. I've never had one in the past, only a RC10GT version. Just rebuilt my old Tamiya Grasshopper. Waiting for a sticker kit

petersen114 and tommy911t like this.

if you want a 10t snag an original off ebay and build it up. probably cost you less money and youll have an original truck, no doubt with a few hop ups. will make for a much better runner. leave the overpriced not supported "rerelease" to the idiot collectors

The big bear was rereleased with strengthen gears and a new color scheme. Did not last long. Now you can get it again 3d printed.
The RC10T will be released as rc10t Classic $379.99 soon!
