As far as the shade goes your gonna have to bring a canopy to be in the shade and the buggies there are a couple of guys that have them not sure if they are 2wd or 4wd but I thing if we get enough people with buggies I might get one to. Just have to figure out what the new hot buggy is.

Its possible it all depends on who shows up really. Im sure if theres enough people there will definetly be some racing and Im looking forward to some trash talkin. I saw Walmart has nice tan 10x10 canopy tents for 97 bucks. I might have to make that investment for some shade too.

2012 Update
Tina's Trains and Hobbies:
Went there today 6/23/2012. Not enough folks to race, but had a great time doing practice races while Eric (Co-owner) worked the kinks out of their brand new AMB racing/lap timing system. Both hardware and software updated and working perfectly by the time we left. We did a "Run What You Brung" race featuring Slash 4x4, Associated T4 buggy, and two of the new Short Course buggies from Losi....
The track is not large, but it has an oval overlayed onto the offroad track. We did a couple of races on the oval where the challenge is from the speed. We also did a couple of races where we used the interior track bumps and jumps where the challenge is provided by the the full "u" turns and small jumps (more technical layout).
Tina and Eric are very nice and try to find a class for everyone 10th scale and smaller. Other than Nuclear-fRC, Tina's is now the only dirt track in MD as far as I know.
Hughesville is near Waldorf, MD and southeast of DC. Come on out. Google Tina's Trains and Hobbies. $15 to race (no charge for additional classes!!), $5 for practice.
