Great Day at ARC. The track changes were awesome. The sweeper at the end of the straight and the section after that really added a great feel to the track. The prep was perfect as usual. I wish I could have stayed for the mains but it was worth the drive just to practice and run the qualifiers. Thanks Dan and Gary for all of the hard work and I can't wait to get out there again in a couple weeks.

So i hadnt thought about ARC much since i got rid of my nitro stuff, but now i am running SC. I assume it run what you brung for 2wd? Anybody want to venture a guess what will work on the track dry and swept? Im thinking enduros as a backup to wishbones. Should see you Saturday!

Im not sure what tires will work for the dry conditions in SC class. Enduros could be good.

Also the turnaround at the track is completely a team effort. It is in no way a one man job! LOL Thanks for all the good replies, we want it to be the best possible!

Soft Enduros or Gridirons should be dialed on a SC. Wishbones will probably be all right, but I think the others will be more consistent at ARC especially if you get out of the groove.

p.s. I actually ran Medium Enduros during practice at ARC one time when the track was bone dry on my 1/8 E car and it was dialed.

Attention Team Managers and Nitro Challenge Participants:

In preperation of the upcoming Nitro Challenge, ARC Raceway is changing our club race program to offer racers a chance to get warmed up for the Nitro Challenge. On both February 12th and February 19th we will be racing with the track completely dry and swept, which in this condition our dirt will be exceedingly close to the track conditions at the Nitro Challenge, especially during NC main events. As an added bonus the Pro Gas Buggy A-Main will be 45 minutes long and the Expert Gas Buggy A-Main will be 35 minutes long, allowing both Pro and Sportsman level drivers to maximize track time and get some serious testing done before the big race.

Summary:
• (2) Dates February 12th 2011 and February 19th 2011
• Dry and swept high bite track conditions
• Expert Gas Buggy A-Main 35 minutes
• Pro Buggy Gas Buggy A-Main 45 minutes
• Music, food and an awesome environment
• All for the standard club racing fee of $20.00
• Gates open at 9:00am Racing starts at 12:00pm

For more information see our website or contact us at: [email protected] 951-760-4573
