Had a great time running on-road yesterday, awesome way to kick off the New Year. The new track layout is fast! I had a few questions about my VTA: I am running a FDR of 3.56 (92 spur, 49 pinion and 1.9 IR) with the timing on end-bell at 40 deg and a fan on the motor. This is with the Novak Boss 25.5. Using the Novak edge speedo and run no drag brake (I think this helps keep temps down and does not kill corner speed). I think it comes with drag brake programed from the factory so you need to change the settings. Spool in the front and gear diff in the rear.
Thanks again to Tony and the Crew for the great facility. Let’s get the word out there and try and break the 20 car mark in VTA for the next round on Sat the 18th!

Good times on road see you guys in a month since I'm on call in 2 weekends.
Hope chuck bartlebaugh can read this. Try a Novak motor with your Havoc ESC. I remembered those 1st gen Havoc's only worked with Novak motors due to propriety temparture protection sensors. The non Novak motor very likely the issue.
• All status LEDs scroll from left to right––Blue sensor harness wire disconnected or motor
does not have temperature protection––Replace blue sensor harness wire or use motor
with temperature protection. Check Novak Web site for motor compatibility list.
