Classes

I talked to steve and he said the classes were still up in the air. Bring what ever you want to race and we will go from there.

dmaxking 06-07-2010 09:35 AM

the track is amazing thanks to all the guys that helped we couldn't have done it without you. and for more detailed directions if your hauling a trailer you cant take laymon it has a 8'6" bridge so if coming from blanchester take a right on farmers then the first left then another left and it will be on the right. if your coming from the other way pass laymon and farmers will be on left.

drtracr440 06-08-2010 03:50 AM

Me and a buddy hoping weather allows this race to happen! We will be making the trip to run mod buggy 2wd. Bright and early to get some practice time! Keep us updated if anything changes!:D

Quad Racer 34 06-08-2010 09:41 AM

the track looks really good! I hope the weather lets us race! there will definitely be some good racing!

Driver86 06-08-2010 10:29 AM

I'll be there. Going to Wilmington Friday and then next Sunday to New Vienna :D May try to fit Tri-State in Fairfield in there too!!! I'll be bringing the SCT and the RC18 if anybody wants to go for some small scale racing

dmaxking 06-09-2010 09:30 AM

awesome guys bring whatever u want and if we have enough we will race them. we have 24 outlets but if u can bring a generator practice will start early sunday morning we are still grooming so no practice till then.

drtracr440 06-13-2010 03:59 AM

Race still on today? Or too much rain?

Driver86 06-13-2010 06:44 AM

I went just to check it out. DONT GO! Nobody. Was there. The place is a swamp and will take a month to dry out. DO NOT even attempt to drive down to the track to look at it without a serious off road vehicle 4x4 truck, Jeep or land Rover as anything else will get stuck. I'm just going to drive the extra distance to Jeffersonville in the future. Taking today off after going out there now.

Quad Racer 34 06-13-2010 06:50 AM

yea Steve is wanting to get some gravel put down in the parking area. But im sure steve made the track where it drains good.. just the parking is the bad part.

The race was cancelled due to the 2 inches of rain we had. And yea of course its muddy its a brand new track any one knows that rain and fresh dirt dont mix. It will be all ready for next sunday as long as we dont get a lot more rain not a month. We are putting gravel down but honestly britany's alero made up and down fine last week when it was raining so really you have nothing to worry about.

It rained 2 inches of rain in two hours. Race was called off the day before by Steve and you went down to see it. Huh maybe you should think about what you post. My point is I usually don't reply to these forums, but when I see somebody bust there butt day in and day out to give everybody a bad ass track to race on, and someone say's not to go for a month because its a swamp. It pisses me off !!!! It's called common sense..... Dirt + 2 inches of rain = mud
Duhhhhh!!!!!

I wasn't talking about the track but the park itself and the road going to the track, but que sera sera......Suit yourselves. They've got a tractor up on the hill that they can pull your little FWD vehicles out with. If there isn't gravel down on that path in the next 2 weeks and it's dry then I'll eat my transceiver.

Driver86 06-14-2010 05:40 AM

No need to be hostile, you got an issue with me then we can take care of it in person. I've never been to the place before and had no idea what the conditions were like.

Where exactly did he post the cancellation? I'm apparently not the only one who didn't know. We're not all members of your frat you know.

would you be so kind as to post some links? If not for me then for other people who may've made the trek for naught?

i have in issue with you talking crap about our track that a handfull of us have put in a lot of hard work and time and money to give everyone an amazing place to race next time just use common sense.

Great track

I want to thank all that have helped get this track ready. It is an awesome track ! I'm looking forward to getting to race there if the rain would ever quit.
It's probably a good idea to post on here if the track is racing as alot of people look on here. See ya soon.

Want to pick a fight? Do it in person. QuadRacer34 is being helpful to all the "noobs" out there, you're just fanning the flames when we're damned lucky to have several tracks in the area now where as in the past places have struggled to stay open and there's not been much of a choice.

Again, I said NOTHING about the track itself, just the challenge of getting to it. If the gravel gets put down then that will be remedied too.

I really see no point of carrying on any kind of conversation with you any further.

Quad Racer 34 06-15-2010 08:45 AM

I'm on here quite a bit so whenever a race gets canceled I will be sure to post it if no one else does.

track thread

I think these threads are a good way of letting people know whats going on an when. some days i'm on it alot and sometimes i don't get on for a week but i hate it when someone mentions another track or trashes someone or another track so lets all try to keep our comments relavent to the track we are trying to promote!!! driver 86 some of your comments I think are coming off a little negative steve king is a great guy i plan on racing with these guys weather permitting. everyone has their right to there opinion but thats just what it is THEIR OPINION I hope we can keep our opinions to ourselves when they don t promote racing in this area people reading this thread may be on the fence about weather or not to make the trip out to race with us and I don't want that to happen. lets race Matt Hale 513 623 1116 my number is for any one not liking my post, they can call me ....steve post the race dates!!

Driver86 06-15-2010 12:14 PM

I apologize if I came off as negative. I just don't want anybody going out there and getting their 1/1 scale vehicle stuck. Nothing wrong with the track itself, it looked great.

Ramirez24 06-16-2010 03:42 AM

Hope to make it SUNDAY !! Has road into track area been improved with some gravel ? Any idea on how long A-mains will be ?

CTEKTOOL 06-21-2010 05:54 PM

Had a great time Sunday. Track is the usual Steve King layout....awsome.:D Fast , flows well , good traction , jumps are super fun with nice landings , 1/10 and 1/8 scale friendly.
Parking lot and drive way were not an issue at all.
Can't wait till Sunday to try my new 4x4 Slash.

latemodel13 06-21-2010 06:15 PM

Great track
