GoFast ripped me off! They charged me double on an SC10 4x4 CVA rebuild kit compared to what Hobbytown would charge me!

Don't you work at hobbytown? GoFast is awesome. And guess what? When you order something there, it actually gets ordered and comes in. Imagine that.

that being said, if enough people show up and there is enough interest, we should race them regardless....
Well said. It is more just a fun thing, not a real competition. I would just like to do it once or twice just to get some kicks and have a good time.
I think what we should do is kind of coordinate a time and day that guys with monster trucks are able to race and do at least one race day of racing just for fun. That way there arnt guys bringing their trucks one at a time and getting tired of not being able to race.
Just a thought.
Maybe like on 8/30/11 (just threw a date in there) there will be a monster truck race type of thing. Almost like it is a "special event". Does anyone think that would be something that is feasible?

OK---on the monster truck posts----i'll keep this short--i was the MT champ for several years-i stopped in 08-put my mt up on the shelf-when i got back from AZ truck nats-----i see it ever day-to remind me of the fun we had RACING--i used to race in the "truggy class @ crcrc on sat--just to see what would happen and i would ususally quail. in the "a" and it ticked them off when i finish with them--enough on that.
it is a mild modded LST2 witha stock motor-its all in the setup and how you drive them-i've still got tons of tires for this thing---so people saying they cant hang with most truggys---thats wrong--did it/been there/done that
i've been itching to fire it up and go out to the track---soon i hope----i need to crack the dust off of ME and show you all how fast they can be

I need a few recommendations on tires to race a SC10 truck there. I know round and black , but make & tread pattern would be helpful. Thanks.

AKA cityblocks on rear and carvers on the front.... works great for me regardless of track conditions!
