**BIG NEWS FOR NORTHEAST RACERS 2011** Mar 8 21:02 EST 2011
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Hey guys,
As some of you guys may already know this year for 2011 myself
and Mark Christman have been given the opportunity to have 100%
respnsablities for the track at Hobby Headquaters in drums, pa. The
owner has decided he does not want to run the track and has given us
full reign to do whatever we want as far as races, the track, and
everything else that goes with it. The owner will be there only to run
the hobby shop that is on site.
Not alot of guys are familiar with this track yet and we are
hoping to change that big time for 2011 and future years to come. The
track is in a very good location 5 minutes from where I-81 and I-80
meet in pa. There are hotels and food also less than a mile away.
There is an onsite hobby shop that will be stocking lots of the
popular parts aswell as tons of other stuff. Tons of room for parking
aswell as lots of land for camping etc. There is electric hookup all
around the track aswell as a community air compressor. There is also a
watering system with hoses around the track that can water the track
in a timely manor. The drivers stand is also wheelchair accesable.
Mark and I will be starting on the track asap and will be redoing
the entire layout from start to finish once the weather breaks. As of
now we plan to have one big race a month and dates have not been
decided yet but we will be racing sundays. There will be a raffle for
giveaways as we already have people willing to donate stuff and as of
now we are looking at a cash payout for possibly top 3 in A and B
mains possibly more depending on entries. Classes planning to be run
will be 1/8 scale truggy, and buggy, electric buggy, and shortcoarse
trucks. We will gladly add classes if we have more than 5 entries.
We hope to see all you guys come out a support us and were really
gonna try to make this a kick ass place. We will be posting pictures
and videos constantly as we move along on this and any ideas or
suggestions are more than welcome. Feel free to post on here on
contact me through text or call me at 570-236-4007

Sounds great, can't wait. If you need a helping hand with the track, I'm about 10min from the track and always willing to help.
Will the fees be the same for using the track? Last year the yearly fee to use the track was $75. Also will the race fees change?
What are the changes for the track? Bigger?
