I just wanted to let everyone know in the five state area (South Dakota, North Dakota, Iowa, Nebraska & Minnesota) that my friend and I have built a clay off-road track here in Tea South Dakota (five miles south of Sioux Falls), its a very good sized track (100' x 60') and we have the following classes available:

If you and any of your friends race off-road and would enjoy coming to a nice facility then this is the one! we have a large handicap accessible drivers stand, large parking area with pitting at your vehicle (some tables provided but bring your own just in case), food/drink on site, electricity provided, spectator bleachers, amb timing system, and the track is 1 blk from our hobby shop.
Entry fees:
non-members are $10 first car, $5 each additional car
member fees are $8 first car, $6 second, $4 each additional
Within the next few weeks we will also have our clay oval track completed so we can start having oval races also.
we have controled practice on Wednesday nights, and our races for off-road are on Saturday.
June 21 is our first big race and trophies are awarded for each class!
(we have been discussing doing side bets and paying out to those racers interested in doing something like that if there is enough interest)
Seasonal Race Schedule:

we want to thank everyone for coming out this weekend for our opening race, we had a good turnout and had a ton of spectators (future rc'ers?) watching the action.
the track was in fantastic condition with the light morning rain and then the watering down of the clay track made for great traction!
we hope everyone enjoyed the trophies that were given out and look forward to more at future events!
we hope everyone will continue to come out every saturday for regular offroad racing, and our oval track will be finished soon for more racing on sundays!
thanks again!

i also wanted to mention we can create mod classes as long as we have a minimum of 2 drivers. mod truck or mod buggy
well, we had a fantastic turnout today (sat) in all classes for some great rc racing!
the track was worked on and the entire surface was tore up and sifted to
remove all of the rocks and then repacked! and two new very large
jumps were added and its way fun to get some serious 'hang time'
we even got some fantastic coverage on Visions Racing and we will be
having a dvd available soon with that interview and some of our local racing action!
we had a lot of entries and a lot of people bought a lot of raffle tickets for
some really great prizes that were donated by local businesses and rc
distributors! all proceeds for the day will be going to the weidenbacher
family to help with some of there medical expenses!
thanks to everyone that came out to race and also to watch!
we hope to see you all again next weekend for another great day of racing!!
