Do you know of any track in Guangdong area? Guangzhou or Dongguan probably. Shanghai is too far for me. I am on the other side( south China)
Thanks. CE!

There is a track in Guangzhou but I'm not sure of its exact location or if they still have it opened. I heard here (shanghai) that the owner got F****** off because everyone switched to Mugen and AE and stopped buying Kyosho (which his store sells).
Not sure on the truth of that but you can call his shop on 020 8136 0499 or 020 8136 0092. There are a couple of other shops in Guangzhou that could help but I don't know their phone numbers. If you are in GZ I can tell you where to find those shops.
The reason I never raced there was lack of information. Dongguan has no RC tracks I know of but there is a good go kart track in Dongguan city itself.
There was another in Shenzhen but I dont know much about that one.
Are you in South China now? You could probably check out Hong Kong, the racers there are pretty good and parts are easy to find.

Renjie,
I am basically in south China. I stayed for 2 -4 months depending on the job.
Give me the address of the shop / track in GZ and I will visit them. If I have time I will come to visit your track in Shanghai.
Thanks for the help I really appreciate it.

The first number was in my last post. the address for that shop is 167 Dongfangxi lu (Dongfeng West Road), It is beside the childrens palace (i forgot the chinese for that). That one sells mostly Kyosho and less kits now.
The next shop is in the Tianhe sports stadium (tiyuzhongxin) it is on the Teem plaza end of the stadium. If you arent sure where the stadium is then tell the taxi driver Zhongxin, its the tallest building in Guangzhou, the stadium is opposite that (the east railway station is behind it. Teem plaza has a subway stop as well (tiyuxilu) tiyu west road. I forgot what the have but its not the cheapest.
The third one is more difficult to explain. Tell the driver wuyang xin cheng. if you go there from the zhongshan lu end it is much easier because the road he turns down will get there quicker. it is about 300 metres from the zhongshan road entrance on your right hand side. if you turn left around the corner and get to the next lights you have passed it. it has a metal slider door and no signs so if its closed you will miss it.
If you go from the Guangzhou Dadao end you will need to turn right at the first set of lights AFTER the Vanguard store on you left hand side, you wont miss it (its big green and white). after turning the corner it will be on your left just after the bike shop.
I hope my directions dont get you too lost but this is probably the most helpful of the 3 stores (and smallest). If you dont speak Chinese it would probably be a good idea to take a local with you to help you talk to them. You can take your little china girl with you Mine is still in GZ but she is pretty stupid when it comes to directions
I'm not exactly sure where that track is but I know its way out in the sticks somewhere..... one of those places GZ taxi drivers dont know (which is pretty strange).
Here we are racing on a carpark which is ok for now. RC hasn't even taking baby steps in the PRC yet but at least they occasionally show races on TV which is good.
Good luck in finding those places, let us know how you get on

im back in the mainland
good to be back!
renjie- no answer on the number that you gave. Anyway I will be in GZ next week to check it out.
I found a small ashpalt track in Zhongshan. It is located inside a condo and the environment was great .and had a good noodles shop
Nobody was running cars when I was there, wonder where the guys are playing. A pool was adjacent to the track-this is unexpected
Ok, here is pics of the track_ enjoy CE!
