I have been working out of town for the last 2 weeks. 16 hour days and 2 hours of transit. Alot of people have been unable to reach me.

The last little bit of rain is currently falling. Its a light rain, with only a 30% chance, the rest of the day.

I will be here at the track. It is NOT raining right now. Looks good on radar till later afternoon. I will keep tending to the track. I will race today if people come. Its up to you guys. I'm here.

Putting some dry dirt in some spots, a few people are here.
It will be a normal club race. Cash race, we will reschedule.

Nice race day today!!!!!I had a bad turn of luck but still had a great time.Congrats to Brian D. for his excellent driving skills today.I have seen Brian have his off days but today was not one of them.I will be looking forward to next weekend at LCRC.Good job and a thanks to everyone who helped get the track ready this morning we pulled it off!!!!!

Thanks Jim.... Ive had a hard time getting my sct truck hooked this year but today all my rides where on a rail. I thought for sure with pitting my e-scale I would mess up but all was cool. Mod truck was fun also, wish you had not broke. Just a fun,easy going day at the track. Glad and thankfull for all that showed up.

All I can say about today was,,,, It was amazing.
Turned out to be the best racing conditions all year. Even right now track is sticky, after 4 hours of racing. Unbelieveable.
Congrats to Brian D. He won everything today.
He won the 50/50 and all three classes.
Results are attached.
Thank you to everyone that came today. Thank you to all that helped with track prep. I was 15 minutes from calling the whole day off.

BTW, triple was cleared today with a nitro buggy, w/ 4 feet of extra landing.
Few quick announcements.......
1. No racing next week. LCRC is Saturday. Let's represent Altoona well there.
2. Following weekend, racing is Sunday. CASH RACE (August 29)
3. Track is closed till that race. New layout will be used for the first time,
that day. There will be no home field advantage for anyone.
I will still be available, as much as my work will allow during the day. But I will be at the track in the evenings.
