Ed is usually the official “recapper” of the days events but since he only showed up for one race to beat up a little CRT .5 I will gladly post the recap:

1. The CRT .5 made its Altoona Raceway debut and appears to be liked by every one who drove it accept me because I suck.
2. Having problems with your buggy? How about now? Try the official glow plug of Jesus.
3. Victor’s Secret appears to be the hot spot for men’s silky lacey underwear.
4. Brad’s lady uses Futaba radios. How do we know, she has a case just like Doug’s. What else would she have the case?
5. DO NOT ever park in front of madmanchicklady’s car! Do not find out why!
6. Brad finally found away to quit Mac.
7. “I think I may of bought to much beer” was the dumbest thing I ever said.
8. Jim finally got his revenge by caking me with dirt and his buggy has superpowers and can scale tall buildings with a simple coast of the trigger.
9. Want to buy a new $1,000.00 radio system? No you say? How about a free T-shirt? I AM IN!
10. Brad has a great novelty race idea. Have your kids ask him about it!
11. The Ceasar has fruity drinks? Who knew? Tommy did! Just when you think you know someone……
12. There was also a few organized races that people won.

Great Day! I am out! LOL!

Ed - I might just get a new .12 for that old truck and run it instead of the 8ight. It only needs a little work done to it (shock seals, diff rebuild, new engine, tires). The sad thing is that with a little more wrench time and a little better tires it will probably be about as fast as an 8th scale. 8th scale has been pretty hard on my wallet lately...gas truck is way cheaper and less work.

Cool Race Night

Hey we usually come down on Sunday's and race but wasn't there last weekend. I noticed that they are racing the 1/10 scale ones now. That is good cause hopefully we will be there every weekend now as long as there will be some 1/10 scale ones there. Anyway I was just wondering if they are racing the 1/10 scale ones on Thursday night too. I wasn't sure if there would be enough for a race or not. We need to get some track time with our 1/10 scale one and figured why not race it with others.

Ed/Chuck,

We racing this week on XBL?

If you make a room Ed - go to the other restrictions and make the cars be 1990 and above.

This will get rid of the Elans, Chevelles, Sprinters and unfortunately my GNX - but should make better racing. My Civic handles great, but doesn't have the top end of your Scion. Maybe I need to work one of those up and get it out there.

What time are we racing?

Just an FYI - there is already a contingent of Mod Truck racers getting together at McCullough's this Saturday for all you guys wanting to run electric.

Default 1/10 & 1/12 scale electric & nitro

Sam, It's a releif to hear you say that about 1/10 scale. I've been feeling a bit overwhelmed by 1/8 buggy. It seems like there is always something that's not quite right, or loose, or requires a teardown. For every minute of racing, I've probaly spent 5 minutes fussing with it.

I'm for running all 1/10 & 1/12 vehicles together whenever possible if it will help ensure that there will be class. I can do a 10 minute main with my Lipo powered T4 and a 15 minute main isnt out of the question.

Default FORZA 2 XBL CLUB: Next Event Wednesday 6/13 9:30 pm

FORZA 2 XBL RACE CLUB: The next event will be Wednsday 6/13 at 9:30 pm. As per Matt's suggestion, no cars prior to 1990 will be allowed.

Order of events with Garage/Career cars:
D-Class 4 Laps at Suzuka Gran Prix Circut
D-Class 4 Laps at Diamond Back
C-Class 4 Laps at Sebring International
C-Class 4 Laps at Road Atlanta Gran Prix
B-Class 4 Laps at Mugello Gran Prix
B-Class 4 Laps at Silverstone Gran Prix

And if anybody is left, we will finnish with a 25 lap oval race with online non-career spec 'rental' cars that will require a pitt stop at the Nissan Oval with GT Spec Honda NSXs.

That should be exciting.

Sounds great, i like the heads up on what we will be doing. Can we do a 50 lap race on that 12 mile track? It would be like a 24 hour enduro!

With all the time I spend wrenching on the RC cars and now this Forza stuff, perhaps we all can be roommates when we get kicked out of our homes.

Ed,

How about Tsakuba? That is your home track - 10 laps there should be included.

Where did you post your setup for you Scion - I would like to try it.

Matt, check page 5 of this forum. Maybe we'll do Tsuzuka next time, I'm kind of burned out on that track.

Ice - I've been wondering if we can quit our jobs and have house where we just race all the time; kind of like the house in the movie 'Fight Club'

And the first rule about Race Club will be that nobody talks about Race Club.
