it was a bumpy AMAIN i dont know why we have so much lexan it these races. oh, well. my time has come to hang up my controller, its been fun throughout the years. and if it wasnt for bill and dot marshall i would have never raced so long thats for sure. i was at there second race ever at the auction barn on rt. 191. back in 1986!!!!wow,,and have been going on and off ever since. i will still have a back yard basher and check out the latest RC mags at wal mart. but i think we all could say this years open house was just different no 1/12 scales. and it had a different feeling. i will be on the boards buying and selling and still painting bodies. but it takes to much time to be fast anymore,and thats time i dont have. it was great to see everyone at marshalls step up there game throughout the years, we are a pretty fast crowd. later.
i might get a nitro touring car i hear they are fun.

i will try to wrangle up some prices i dont know yet, i would love a less technical class but they are boring sometimes. i was thinking of truggy offroad but that over with now since the off road track is done, i dont know this year seemed different at the open house i dont know why. to me anyway.
integy cheap truer and arbor 50.00
prisms 12.00 a set
cuffs chassis rdx with ceramic bearings and offset motor mount 215.00
regular rdx 170.00 like new
hudy lathe full automatic that i hit the diamond bit but still cuts like glass 170.00
many marshalls cans with numbers on them purple endbells 40.00
epic 27 arms
minicooper roller no electronics 100.00 bearings, new hpi tires.

eric, the offroad track is probly not over with. me bob my dad nd sum others are gonna tlk to bill about leasing it from him nd have it as a club track so that we can change, keep maintaining it like it should be. it should be good if it is still here next year.

Offroad
Hearing that the offroad might close was rather disappointing. It was one of the basic reasons why I came back to all this, not that I'm disappointed that I did. Summer however is a long ways away and there is allot of talk. This yet maynot be the last year of offroad at Marshalls. I just wish the next closest offroad track wasnt so dam far away.

i agree with u on the dirt oval there is alreay one in the area no need for 2
hey i have on order all the parts neede to convert my 18t to a 18r
it cost me $70
but now i have new cvd's shocks. shock towers and watever i have left over to sell and try and break even

Was the tension from the oval guys or just all around?Bill has seemed a bit upset lately too.Wonder what's up.Have to go for some cardiac tests this week.If all is well(and it should be)..I will see all sunday.M

Most of the tension was the oval guys. One case he stopped a race and disqualified a guy for the day. I wasn't around to see it but of what I heard it was for hacking. We also experienced our share of hackers as I was takin out in the main. All in all it was still a fun time. Wasn't the same without ya Mar., Bill did give you an honorable mention.
