ok everyone now bill mentioned trying to make a spec type touring class to start people into touring
now heres my idea
Any chassis
Any rubbertires
A Street Spec Motor
And any STICK PACk up to 3800
Venom makes a 3300 for 19.99 a gret deal for someone gettiing started
now all that they would have to do move up with the big boys is buy a stock motor and foam tires they still use that 3300 or 3800 stick pack to run in stock
wat do u think its cheap an not to far from the stock class

I am running in a spec class at Rampage. I have to say it is the most RC fun I have had in a long time. All the cars are the same speed with the same handling characteriscs. I am enjoying it som much I sold my RDX.
The class rules are:
Tamyia TT-01 box stock, no modifications, no upgrades.
Venom 3300 stick pack
Any non dyno tuned stock 27. I am running a CO27 and one of the motors from Marshals.
Any rubber tire with any insert. I am running HPI X Patterns with stock inserts, TT-01 kit rims.
Any body whos model year is previsou to 1972. I am running a 65 Mustang 350GT.
Speed control which costs less than $50. I am running the Tamyia speed control that can with the car.
The class is growning and is tons of fun to watch and race. It is the kind of spec racing I have been looking for for several years. The great thing about it is that everyone who enters this class knows the limitations of the chassis, understands it is for fun, and don’t care enough about it to consider cheating. When was the last time you were laughing during one of your heats? We do with this car everytime!
I am going to run the Inferno GT spec class at ProSpeed this summer. I am sure it will just as much fun. Jaime has put together a set of tight rules also.

bill is just looking fo a class betweem novice touring and stock touring
alot of people told him thed love to run touring but they can keem up with the fast guys withou spending alot of time and money on a chassis and mootr work
no stock touring drivers will b allowed in this class just those who want to move up from novice or mini cooper
the reason i thot of the spec motor is because you van only use the spec brushes so that evens everyone out on the motor.
