Nope. don't know a thing about him - but then again, he ain't offering much information about his track or who he is...

When I said "established" racers, I was talking about other racers he would be "competing" to get at his track - no info, or lack thereof would make it difficult to draw people down there

There is only so many racers in the PA/NJ/DE/MD area to pull from - and the fact that there is no information about the track, people can't seem to find the place, and he's planning on opening an indoor track in the middle of summer leads me to believe he's gonna have a hard time bringing people out - obiviously other than you, twan

Just my $.02 - don't take it personally...Get the owner on the thread or get more information, then you'll be getting a more positive response from guys...All the info (that I've read in this thread) has been very vague - get some more concrete info and I'm sure things will change...that's all I'm saying...

if they are just working on the roof then this palce has a long way to go. Maybe it will be ready for next winter, I would love to have an indoor track near by to run at in the winter!

Are there any nitro on-road tracks in the philly area? Former Lasalle grad here with in-laws in philly. I occassionally come up to the area and can't think of a better excuse to get out of spending TOO much time with the in-laws.

Your best bet would be either:

Hobbytown USA of Westchester, PA. ~About a 45 minute drive from Philly.
Mushroom Bowl Speedway, about 30-40 minutes from Hobbytown USA, WC
Jackson Rc, Jackson Nj. About 2h for me. Around I'm guessing 1:30 from Philly? (Comfirm someone)
Blue Diamond is another track. Not 100% complete but it will be happening this year. That's over in DE somewhere. (What County guys? ETA time someone..)

As far as I know, Mushroom Bowl Speedway is opening Saturday, May 5th, 2007. Racing starts at 5pm SHARP! If the track isn't opened by then, I heard HobbyTown USA WC is NOT the place to be...

Just to let you know..

Until the south philly track "happens", Family Hobbies is a short ride into NJ, @30-35 minutes from the Linc. Offroad only. Mostly 1/10th gas truck, 1/10 mod 4wd,2wd&truck, nobody really runs stock but if there's enough they would make a heat.

Here's a video someone made: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=6frIdmqtIkA

Just FYI.
