Let me know what is going on this week with capt jack taking off or whatever. I may be tired, but I still can stop and work a bit after I get off work. Not like I won't be passing the track on my way home. So shoot me a text.
Thanks. Calling for showers so, we will play it by ear. Jack is taking off Wed. & Thurs. Going to run the skid loader, if it isn't too wet. I am going to paint and scrape. Any help will be appreciated. You have helped so much so far, I almost feel guilty having you help again. If you are coming, call us for an update on conditions (or stop by on your way home) Sincerely, Robin

Just found out that the doctor Garland was seeing for his back isn't an orthopedic doctor. He said G could drive and not to take muscle relaxers until bedtime. So, he went to the truck, barely made it in and when he hit the brake and turned around to back up-----you guessed it! Pain and spasms. Played hell since then. Now, he is being sent to see the orthopedic doctor.
I would have thought one would have seen him to start with.
Oh well, just something else to bring him down!!!

If anyone wants to earn money to help Jack & I, We will pay you. It's not what you make at your job, but it is something. Call me at the shop Wednesday if interested. May check into day labor, if not.

Thanks, Robin

My dad is taking me to the orthopedic specialist tomorrow afternoon. Hopefully they can get my back straightened out, so I can get back to work.

Jack and I are going to work on the racers stand..preparing it for painting.
After he gets Garland back from the DR., and gets G situated in a chair, Jack will probably work on the track.

His medical/ physical limitations are almost as bad as my current situation, but i hope mine will get better soon along with his. His leg situation is bad at times, and there is no sense in making it worse.

I bet if Jack sticks his foot up his a$$ that will straighten his back right out. Now we just have to figure out how to get Jack to keep his balance when he has to get his leg that high.

Sounds good but he needs to test it out on someone first, so I guess you are volunteering. haha He is gonna start off on a LCG (lower center of gravity) model.

Yeah, he won't need a step ladder for me.

You should find him a good chiropractor- no joke. I have been visiting one for over 15 years. I do the chiro- unless the vertebrae is to far gone. The ortho's just put you on relaxers, steroids and possibly the old epidural.

A good chiro can straighten him out without the drugs- I swear by them

Good luck G

Thanks, he went to the chiro first. No help. He has never experienced pain like this before. Too hard to bear at times. Chiro said "Ice 15 mins. off 1/2 hour. Ice 15 mins., off 1/2 hour. No help at all. It took us 15 minutes to get him out of bed to use the bathroom. At least the naproxin and the muscle relaxers give him a little relief. Tried to drive, after the other DR. said he could--that was a BIG no-no. Started shooting pains in his back again (put his foot on the brake and turned his head to back up) after struggling to get into the truck. Hopefully this orthopedic DR will help him. He is so down because he can't work on the track.

Jack & I will be working all this week. If anyone can help, we sure need it.
