I will vouch that Speed Monkey is a top notch facility. Rumor has it that there may be a big title race there this year.

I'd say the cat is out of the bag on this one...

There are also rumors that something might be changing with the Oval. Is that true?

There are talks... but no time frame. As soon as I have some info to pass on, I surely will.

I will say this, the way the property drains makes having a dirt oval in that spot very hard to maintain.

That's just a Pro Series race, not a title event. The rumor is of the AKA race coming to SMRC.

To those that race here, the crossover has been refaced as of last night. Less pop, much faster now. Should make for some good racing.

Track has some puddles that we are working on getting dried up. We will be racing for sure Saturday, but call ahead if you are looking to get some track time before then.

I'm going to have to get up there one of these weekends. How is the 1/8 e-buggy turnout usually?

It's getting better. We usually run the e-buggies and e-truggies together, or run them with nitro if the truggies don't show. Last week e-buggies were 2nd nitro B and 3rd in the A. Just make sure you can go 20 minutes!

I'm about to put my Mugen back to buggy, so there there will be at least 3 of us that will be there 90% of the time, plus the others that show up. We are finally starting to get a good regular SCT class, too.

Fun track for electric. Lots of spots to use all that torque.
