Just curious what scale and types of vehicles everyone in this area drives. I'm trying to figure out what is popular in the area and what the demand is in the case that the victory wings n wheels place doesn't pan out. I currently have a 1/10 sct and buggy, next project would be a 1/8 nitro buggy.

1/10 buggy and 1/10 stadium truck for me, and both my sons have 1/10 sct.

In case you didn't know Harold mikes is moving soon, I don't know when. The website says it will give details in a few weeks. I would just keep an eye on the website before you head that way to make sure your trip isn't for nothing.

Maybe we should try to plan something one weekend in July at one of the forum members tracks so we could all meet and get some track time.

Thanks RJ for the heads up. I too would like to get together. The more we organize the better chance we have at getting a track going.

Theres now a track in Snyder, we just finished building it last weekend. No for sure date on when racing will start, but it should be this year. We are waiting to get a timing system in and will be ready to go as soon as that is complete.

Nice looking track in Snyder.
Been looking to get back into racing. Looks like their may be several tracks that are not to far of a drive.
I just found out that the owners of San Angelo paint ball are nearing completion of a off road track. I'm going to go check it out tomorrow.
Good to hear tracks are coming back!

Well just went and checked out the track being built in San Angelo.
The owner sounds pretty serious about having a first class facility.
with the intention of holding some regionals when finished.
He has the area cleared out for a large track if desired.
The drivers stand is about 70% complete. light poles sunk in the ground.
covered pit area. A 4 ft wall along the front stretch with elevated pit lane for refueling just under the drivers stand. several loads of nice dirt already brought in.
I'm guessing in a month it should be pretty close
