In the years that I have been in rc racing I have spent a lot of time chasing down rumors of tracks that all too often turned out to be pipe dreams or had long sinced went out if business. Accordingly, I would like to usethis tread to put together a comprehensive Texas track directory. So please post information about tracks that you have knowledge about.

I will start this off with Mikes in Carrolton (just north of Dallas on 35E). Exit Sandy Lake. It is on the south bound access road.

His weekly race results are posted so you can check out the numbers showing up for each class.

2 indoor tracks. Offroad and carpet road course. Offroad racing Saturdays carpet Sundays. 11:30 registration closes. Races Start at noon. $15 for first class, $10 for each additional class. Plenty of pit space with electricity and chairs.

Large hobby shop onsite carries a full line of parts for associated, Losi, and traxxas. As well as huge amount of airplanes, helicopters, etc.

Wow, that Mike's place looks crazy impressive in description, but I couldn't find any pictures of the tracks on the website (odd! ), any pics online anywhere?

He has a track cam that you can actually control on his website. Also look on his hobby talk forum. People have posted some over the years. Next time I make it out I will take some pictures and post them here.

Here the schedule for the track rebuild. For anyone who can help the official day for that will be Saturday the 17th. Work will be done before that day (such as fence removal, dirt added to back section) so the 17th will mostly consist of the layout of the jumps and piping. The first scheduled date for racing will be Sunday the 25th on the new layout. Will post it on rcsignups.com

Houston, San Antonio, Waco...anyone? What about Wild Bills in Irving?

I am interested in not only getting track location but getting regular class info. I am not talking about the classes that only make when Jupiter aligns with Mars.

I think you should have a mod make this thread a sticky so its always at the top. Delete any post that doesnt list tracks and classes.

As far as regular classes, that's a tough one. The tracks around Austin will run whatever people will show up with.

Rcfiles.com is a great place to check out more of what the locals are running on any given weekend.
