Not sure about MAJOR events, but WhiteHouse Hobbies (I THINK thats the name)has a great outdoor 1/8 layout....it's just outside Nashville.

I have hear the guy that owns the hobby shop on topside in Louisville is building a huge offroad track on the motor mile in Maryville. We will just wait and see. I plan to run a money series at my track in 2010 but i am waiting on Ed and Dion to post their plans for the NGPS so i can plan around that.
