What are most people running chassis and motor-wise for 2WD? Looking at a couple of Losi 22 1.0s and B4.2s, motors between 10.5 and 13.5. I have a Novak SS5800 from my old T4, but it's old enough that I'm sure it's not competitive now.

B5's are the most popular at the moment. B4.2's are hard to beat and plentiful right now on rctech... 1.0's are good, so long as you stay with rear motor. 10.5's are the norm as well.

Ask around at Thunder... there are usually great deals!

If the forum would let me join, I would! It keeps saying any username I tried is disallowed.

On road getting whacky. Got turned onto usvta last weekend with my son. We are acquiring parts and pieces now to put together two cars. Just been cruising the forums to try to learn all we can and find all the places we can go race when they are not running at one lug. Of course after meeting Myron Nashville is on our list now he is out. Found out that Alabama folks were going to the last on road Georgia track next race on the 5th now it has blown up and Will says he is out over there. Seems like have jumped on a dead horse. What's up!

we run onroad all summer. the entries do fall off to sometimes 5 or 6 but somehow we still find a way to run. I have seen one of the best races in 21.5 between 3 cars. the set schedule for onroad is that, set, I'll be there even if it's to practice with 3 people. the only catch is sometimes it might be mostly tc or 21.5 but for sure you'll get track time. 2 weeks ago we race 1 GT with 2 vta. for qualifing. worked out that way for marshalls then ran 3 vta in the main.

I'm still going to try to make a GT or VTA debut a little while after Winter Champs... Just have to buy a winning lottery ticket!

There is dirt on the schedule for this weekend. Josiah and I are in +4.
+2 SCT
+1 2wd buggy
+1 4wd buggy
Picked up a stadium truck and x-cubed - both rollers. Working on saving for electronics for those.
