we had 4 drivers with the car and did well

all im saying that what we tested at the track and the car was good

and the diff at cleveland they ran red center spring

with 20 spings on the front and red on the side damper and i know CHIS ran a
sping steel t-bar

but ACE i will be there with 6 diff.. t-bars i will have you set

My FTR-12 was good enough to qualify 7th in the masters A and to finish 5th. Probably I would have been a bit better but I used up all of practice and 1/2 of qualifying trying to make a poor tire choice work. On the last Q day, I reverted to more normal tires (the compounds that I usually run) and the car was butter. The setup was pretty standard Tbar stuff...... .020 front springs with 30,000 lube on the kingpins, 5 degree caster blocks, 1deg camber, 0 toe, silver shock spring, 50 wt shock oil, 1mm of droop (aka overtravel), regular aluminum dampener tubes (no side springs on them) with 25,000 wt lube in the tubes, .063 associated tbar with only the two outer mounting screws, one small shim under the front of the tbar, IRS medium ballstud on the associated style antenna mount to raise the front of the shock slightly. Grey rears w/ full paragon. Purple fronts w/ 1/3+ paragon. Front tires glued all the way up the outer sidewall. And that's about it. This is virtually the same setup that I've run on tbar cars for a very long time and the FTR-12 was very smoothe and manageable once I finally stopped messing around with multi-compound tires and ran normal purples and greys.

Hi Bill you were referred to me by the guy that sold me a Fk05 setup. I have two questions I hope you can help me with:
1. what brands/types of spur gears work on this car? I have a 64p on there now but want to go back to 48p.
2. what gearing would you recommend for a 19t Checkpoint in this car? I'll be running Lipo in it.

Thanks for your help.

Thanks Winkle you did a great job we will be at 360 for the grand slam we are hoping that the worlds gt car is finished at that time Chris is making some smalll changes to the flex points in the chassis and then it will go to production also.

The FTR 12 will be shipping in the next two weeks, Chris has also made a few small changes that I am sure you will like.

Guys for the price of this 1/12 scale car you cant go wrong.
