awesome jamie! We need to find a suitable vehicle as my evo is not so hot for RC trips and my pickup only really seats too. We need a wagon or minivan.
#260
im hoping for a lancer this week, if so we may be able to squeeze into that? lol
#261
might be a little cramped lol! The evo has the same interior and driving that to Jersey last summer with 2 people and luggage was a little errr umm close. We could rent a minivan for the weekend for like $40, might be worth looking into. Maybe we could hitch a ride in the strasnick G-Wagon!

the Strasnicks (or at least the elder one) were hoping to drive down in my M3 - even less room. We really shouldn't need that much equipment for an onroad asphalt race (i.e., no tire truers, etc.). If we needed a table, etc., I was planning to buy a cheap one there and just discard.

ya ed i forgot about the minivan idea. that would be ideal. we will have to look into it.

Hyperform12
Well, we spent the entire day testing the new Hyperform12 in both stock and mod at our local indoor carpet track. We also had a chance to race the car for the first time. The car was simply amazing, incredibly dialed from the very first run with a guesstimate setup and it got better and better with some slight tweaking. I know it’s hard to take my word for it being the designer/manufacturer but I have owned many different 12th scale cars in my time. Starting with the RC12i followed by just about every other chassis ever offered both t-bar and links cars, I’ve owned almost all of them. The Hyperform12 is by far the best car I’ve ever driven. It has tons of steering and carries an incredible amount of corner speed. The recessed t-bar did exactly what I thought it would; it keeps the car very flat through the corners. As far as the race night went, the car TQ’d against some very good national drivers. That says a lot because I am really not that good of a wheel (that’s why I have sponsored drivers).

I got a chance to wheel the prototype hyperform 12 and it was extremely impressive. With basically no prep, it was dialed. It was by far and away the best looking car on the track tonight, and the hyperform hp helped too. Nice job lino, too bad I melted in the main on the last lap to another ahhemm teams driver! Had 'em covered

j-rod if its just you and me on the ride down we can just take my pick up. Barry + Mark, if you need to send down table tent etc, you can load it in my truck.
Who's in for Maine next week! I know mark and J-rod are down.
