Thanks for all the help today steve. I hope i didn't bother you too much. Great job as usual, taking it down in sedan and 12th.
Lino, the car is awsome. I'm just waiting for my skills to catch up to it.

3rd race day running the Hyperform Razor. 3rd TQ and win. Car has been VERY smooth and very consistent. Thanks guys!
TQ today was actually really wierd...it was a tie, myself and another guy both ran a 49 8:00:77 for a new TQ. First time I've every seen a tie to the hundredth of a second, especially after an 8 minute heat. Great day!

Lino, the H-12 still handles good. I was running it in our regional race in stock till it got rained out. The only problem was I could not get the power out of the motor everybody else was getting out of the motor. I had got 3 motors and the second motor seemed to have alittle more power. The armature had no holes drilled into it for ballance. Any idea what type of gearing to start out with. The motor is the Epic X stock motor. I will call you tomarrow, I have several motor questions about power and rpm.

carlos, i was running a 45.24. but i should have put one more tooth on it in the main. I know the guys I talked to were running right at 50 roll out

I was running the 50 mm rollout as well and the car had no punch. If i geared lower I would be slower on the back straight. I am going to get me another x-stock to play with so I can figure out this motor. I know what to do for a Paradox, but this motor throws me for a loop. thanks Yang for the tip.

i know that mine really had no power, so I went with a different brush. the f brush was the ticket, but for some reason not good on mine, Jerey had to cut my comm down and used a 767 to get some power out of it. on his phantom, look for about 68watts and 21k rpm. I think that was about the average "fast" motor. i did see some 23k rpm and also a motor that almost did 70watts

F brushes are hit or miss.when they are good, they are insane, when there is a soft batch, well, they suck
best bet is to buy a sack of f's when they are good and only use em for big events or when good comp shows up.im in the same boat as i just used my last set of sick f's.i know am onto my real good 4499 brushes.

Lino thanks again for bringing that cell for me on Sat I appreciate it.
Jason I have had similar luck with the "f" brushes lately it has been hit or miss more then likely because I dont buy them in bulk just 3 or 4 pairs at a time and when they are bad they are REALY BAD but like you said when they are good they rock . I even had the same happen with the reedy 767's for a while but the most consistant brushes for me have been the 4499's.....

yeah, the best way to test the brushes is to sacrifice one by crushing it with a set of pliars or in a bench vice.slowly crush them until they break.if they turn to dust they are soft and they will be a bad batch.if they break into chunks that are pretty big, this means that they are hard and will make you a very pissed off motor.

Hey guys, haven't stopped by in a while. We've been crazy on this end. That's a cool way of checking the f-brush btw Jason.
