Well..could've been better and could've been worse yesterday, i am kinda gettin sick of all these fourth places though. batteries and motors were great, Thanks JT. i still had a hard time pinning down the gearing with all that traction and change in grip. i think i was one of maybe two or three using the monster stock in the main. Some guys got the CO27 figured out and i know myself and parisano had the worst time with the CO. even Still the Monster Horsepower u sent was pretty wicked. Thanks for everything John!

I agree the kit bearings are better than the avid ones but they are both good when you first put them in. I really think the boca green seal bearings are good for the money too, they are about 3 bucks a piece.

Larry did you see the notice for the 007 bearings on the X-ray forums? They are saying that some of the team guys noticed that the bearings needed oiling right out of the pack...

Matt, I would start with around a 50-51mm rollout given what you ran your co27 at.
(I figure I might as well answer my own question)

Tag- looks like instead of building cars this week, I will be building a track. She's gonna be close this week. Sunday "might" be a test day for the loop, board secureness, etc!! There's a teaser pic in the "racing" forum here.

BTW- we REALLY need you to come Sunday for the boards durability testing. We figured only you could do the type of damage that the novice drivers will be creating . Better yet, bring Andrew and let him wheel .

We had our big Midwest Carpet Onroad Champs two weeks ago and for 1/12 stock I ran a 53.5mm rollout with the CO27 running Putnam greens with a green/red spring combo. With the same track layout this week, with alot less traction, I ran a 51mm rollout on my KD19T with F's and a green/red spring combo. The layout we're running right now is pretty open and flowing so those rollout's will be on the high end. I won 1/12 stock at the big race and this week I would of been 2 seconds off of Jari Taskilla's TQ time in 19T 1/12 from the big race.
