Hey guys, just got back to the hotel and figured I'd post up how I was doing after 2/4 rounds of qualifying.

The track is a little on the slick side, so everyone is looking for rear traction. No one seems to be able to really drive their cars as hard as they usually do because when you get all up on the gas the car gets squirrly.

Anyways here's how I'm doing.

Modified Truck: 43rd overall
Modified Buggy: 50th overall

There are 92 buggys and 111 mod trucks. So not to bad, was on a good run in the 2nd qual. in truck and got taken out bad and lost 10 sec. and *still* managed 10 laps...So we'll see what the reshuffle tomorrow brings.

CS-27s are the spec tire for 19T class along w/ these spec motors: Trinity Chameleon II, Reedy Spec 19T and Team Orion Element Spec.

Bob, come on out and bring the guy w/ the "busted wheel".

TK-Try running a 19t in your buggy!! See if that helps the rear tracion. I have done it before and it works well on a smaller track.

Good like Tk. Kick some butt.

Jeff and I will be heading out early in the morning to London for the SSS trophy race. We will both be running Mod Offroad Truck, and I will also be running 8th scale which Jeff will probably pit for me in I might have internet access at the place I'm staying at, if so I will keep you guys up to date on how things are going.

Stratus...

Jon, how did you switch your name? I wouldn't mind getting rid of lazyeh.

Haha Dobbs, I thought about putting a stock in my buggy and truck today more than once, and I wasn't alone in those thoughts either...they've been floating around in the pits. But I'm loving this HP so I'm gonna keep it in, I can make it work.

Hey all. Just got back from a big off road race in Sand Hills,NC. Track was cool ..great for electric. Ran my new truck (T4)for the first time yesterday to get ajusted to dirt. Been 8 years or so since I ran dirt. Got to run 4 packs and tweak the truck a little by days end..it was good.

Race was today... MFG. Cup Race (AKA Trophey race).. Ran stock truck which is the most popular there and managed to sit 4th in the A. Ran 3rd in the feature playing it safe as there was a good battle right in front of me for 4 min. I was waiting for the opening, but it never came,so third it was. The racing was real clean. I ran our P2K2 and had more than enough power all day, even pulled wheelies during the heats..that was cool.

FYI don't forget all stock and 19T C2's are on sale for the remainder of July, e-mail me and I can hand pick ya what you need.

Later, Tag
