Good luck racing @ mimi's and everywhere else this weekend guys. For anyone running @ mimi's, I talked to Robert @ Ashford Hobby's on Wednesday and he'll be going. Maybe he'll bring all his Xray parts with him. If you see him, introduce yourself, he's a great guy!

It's alright. Hold off on buying the new chassis and top plate. I'm working with Jason on developing a BMI replacement. I guarantee we'll have something within the next few weeks.

You know that Jason's stuff is always way better than the graphite XRAY uses.

Yeah and there's no need for a thicker chassis outside anyways. That means once I beat up my stock chassis outside I can get the BMI when carpet season starts up again.

I just thought it was funny you spend 400 on a car and then one week later they say oh yea heres another chassis too

Hey, Lar. Beg to differ on that one. There's two schools of thought:

Some guys prefer the chassis to be flexible for low-bite/outdoors because it makes the car easier to drive. This is true.

I know Jason's theory (and I tend to agree) is that the chassis should be as rigid as possible and have the suspension do the work. Chassis flex is unpredictable at best.

I mean, in reality though, we're talking minutae here. BUT, bling is bling ya know.

If you want to add to the bling factor before you put your new chassis on hit it with clear coat.

yeah but most guys went back to the original stk chassis over the bmi an the xrc an were faster a chassis can never be to stiff but if its solid enough then its good it the guy that comes over grabs ur car an tries to twist it like a wet rag oh u have flex we never put the amount of flex on the chassis u see guys do when checking for flex not even in mod
