Yes like said, You would need a Stator and enbell set up. The endbell design is totally different. Also to be legal it would not pass tech at some tracks with part from 1 motor converted to another style motor.

But, If you already have a Beast with the 12.5mm rotor you could just go with the standard HT motor and swap out to your rotor if needed and keep the 12.3 mm rotor that comes with motor as a tuning option for a more flowing track.

Dan...Car looks great...Looks like ya drove the wheels off of it.....

Spent a day testing yesterday and very satisfied with the Beast motor. I find the 12.5 rotor has a very versatile range and I was not losing too much top end versus the 12.3 broadband rotor, but more low end was definitely noticeable in the infield. I actually geared lower to 3.54 at first, but ultimately settled on 3.60 as top end was still good but wanted even more pickup down low. Temps were actually cooler than with the 12.3. This is easily becoming my favorite motor after just a day of testing. If the track layout ever changes to be more free flowing, I may go back to the 12.3.

Also tested out the Express 21.5 (12.3 rotor) in my newly built TRF101 F1. Very smooth, linear, controllable power. We have a 15 minute main here so I practiced for a solid 15+ minutes in warm weather and it temped off at 155F with no fan. Have not felt the need to turn up the timing more, even for a 6 minute qualifier.

Had another great day of racing at the 4th round of the Northwest Asphalt Challenge at Fasttrax Northwest in Monroe Washington. This was the fourth race of five with 3 out of 5 counting for points. I Tq'd and won the first 2 rounds, missing round 3 I had to really make sure I had a good run to sew up the series yesterday. It was some close racing, coming down to who made the mistake in qualifying and the main. I ended up on a cleaner run and took tq and the win to lock up the series. This was a smaller parking lot track, I used the Killshot with the high torque stator and hight torque rotor. I did some testing early in the day and settled with the ht/ht combo. Thanks Tag for the help.

Also wanted to say good job to Chad Burdick for Tq'ing the Rose City Scale Racers Kings Cruz in race in Portland Oregon. Wtih some bad luck in the mains he ended up 2nd overall but still a good performance with his eXpress powered T4.

I had a rough day and got t-boned a couple of times in the A-main of the expert 17.5 tc class. I couldn't recover so I placed at the back somewhere. It was our Team Powers Cup race at Norcal Hobbies in Union City, CA! Dan cleaned up and grabbed three cups in his classes. I will let him tell the tale! John I will e-mail you later, time to rest! Thanks again express for another fun day of racing.
