Just getting back into the swing of things, the last of my drivers that came across from the mainland left last nite. What a HUGE week -

Sitting at the airport waiting for my flight. A good weekend overall for eXpress Motorsports. I qualified 4th in stock 12th and 8th in stock foam sedan. I ended up finishing 6th in 12th scale and 8th in sedan. Horsepower was never an issue all weekend, I was chasing the setup a little in sedan and was learning alot about the 12th scale. Had trouble getting good starts in both and blew out in the last main for 12th when fighting for 2nd in points. Thanks to Tag and Schreff for providing the cells for the race and I also need to give a big thanks to Shawn of Team Kwik for wrenching my motors all throughout the weekend.

Well, thanks man....It was so bitter sweet. It was by best finish to date, but it was just three tenths shy of makin the show. I am not really sure if I realized how small three tenths really is...inches! Less than inches.....

I had the 10 spot going in the 4th round, and I knew I had the car and the motor from Xavier Motorsports...lol....I get all settled in up on the driver's stand, by buddy scrubss me in, he turns the car on........

nothing.....

brings the car over to me, power to ESC, power to transponder.....Rx ended up just dying on me....and I couldn't defend my bubble spot and i watched in absolute utter sickness Brian Jucha take the bubble by .3.....

I had a blast, the car was money! Even though I didn't make the "A" - to be able to run with the big boys for 5 minutes consisitently....priceless...

I can honestly say that I think the one of the best things that came out of this week was the BQ. I could taste the A-main....but I am not there yet.
It is going to make me work that much harder, much more focuses the next few months to bust my tail and make the show in Vegas.....

Thanks Tag for the motors and batts, it was never a problem in HP once I figured out the gearing for my motors. I also want to thank Xavier for helping a brotha out and tuning my motors....

btw in all your free time I might finally need to get around to getting some bodies painted up LOL give me a shout when you get caught up later man.


I had a rough week at the nats... brand new car... had to hack on the chassis and make a bunch of setup changes all week but finally got it pretty good by the 3rd round in stock, but I was trying to run brushless and was sitting 16th gave up threw a roar stock in and put it 9th on the grid. had a good run 1st main going and blew out on my own LOL 2nd got peeled a couple of times and collapsed a spring 3rd was just a survival race and ended up 4th. I finished 7th overall behind the x man in stock 12th...

I was REALLY disappointed in super stock 12th I peeled a tire the first round, I was taken out in the sweeper by a fellow racer 2nd round and got stuck in the d heat. I had to go for a safety run in the 3rd just to get out of the heat and put it in the B and then ended up on a top 10 run only to blow out in the death star chicane and cost myself making the show... I had a top 5 car easy running sub 10 second laps, but it just wasn't meant to be. BQ just like mcgoo lol

then in my b main superstock 12th I pulled out to a big lead in the first 5 laps or so over frank only to have a marshall run in front of my car on the straight and rip the left side off my car, on a side note my wheel was going really fast when it passed my car down the straightaway LOL

had fun and the facility and race were awesome... Tag you missed a good one man.

Guys we again have sold out SMC Lipos. I just have 1 SMC 5000 in stock. Seems our 2 large dealers took the the last 24 today.. Hog's...Look for some at our Overseas deals for those overseas, Hobby Town Glen Burnie MD also has them in stock now too..

We should have another huge batch in stock late next week.....
