Went racing tonite. Had 14 guys running TC Stock. First the Demonics were BALISTIC. Only thing I didn't like was I had to ger about 5teeth more than the Vision. Anyway I Qualified 4th and of course on Lap 8 while fighting for 3rd I broke/lost a hinge pin block. so I finished 9th. But I did manage to run the 3rd quickest lap. So all wasn't bad. Hoping to have better luck next week.

Just got back in town. I will be ordering some new mods. Im tired of being cheap, its a good way to make a waste of a race day. Probably need to think about a new servo too. I had a wiring harness go bad and had to splice one off a stock servo on it.

Ya guys, definatly get that money in for the TSC race. No need to spend more money because of an entry form deadline. BTW, what classes are all you oklahoma boys going to be running?

ran 19t 12th scale today, REALLY bad glitching, which hosed every run, oh well go third in the main, although every lap i was reacting to wierd goings on..... thinking futaba may be the way forward....there was a lot of problems today, wonder if it was the humidity/static???
tried the wildcard 2, but was having trouble gearing it....should this be geared a lot higher than a C2?

cant remember.....bought those pro cut CRC tires for the main as I was in a hurry...tim ran by me like he was running mod!

I know we have been playing with running small tires and lots of gear in stock, not sure about the Pro Cuts, I do know that they measure out to about 48mm out of the package and I was running 45-46mm tires the last 2 weekend we ran and stuffing lots of gear in the car. It seemed to like that. I just got my WC2 last week, but I will not race again until the TSC.

I would love to but after only running on carpet this year twice, I think it would be like me bringing a knife to a gun fight.
I'll get some more rug time and get there next year. Our outdoor season is 2 weeks away and I'm all geared up for that. I gotta get ready for Beat the Heat '06 so I can once again eat my Toast! LOLBrant
