Eric.... brush shaving

Eric,

I've just skimmed and re-brushed our ROAR stock and matched the edge shave on the new brushes to your original.

Do you use a fixed-depth shave off to increase the torque, or dyno first then decide how much?

If its fixed, then I have it, if not, do you have a rule-of-thumb to work out the shave off?

Re: Eric.... brush shaving

I'd like to know too. EA rebuilt 4 of my motors and I
noticed that the sides of the brushed face is shaved a
little. The original EA motors had a hole in the brushes
but he is doing things a little differently now. For
anyone thinking of getting motors rebuilt from him I highly
recommend it, the dyno numbers look at good as my new EA
motors. I guess as a bonus he threw in some motor tubes..

Eric- Are they the brushes with the orange shunts? If so I got some of these from Kenny. I will be using these in FL this weekend for the first time.

Give me a call, I have some standups and laydowns I am running this weekend in FL, let me know if this is the same compound of laydowns and standups. Rick gave me some of each two weekends ago.

Atlas....I emaile Colin last night. Please tell him that the ROAR stocks are on backorder till the first of the year with Trinity and so are monsters and C2. Ive got about 60 monsters and that will probably be it till the end of the year...maybe more before then. I will have brushes though...just not 767's. Backordered as well.

Got my first look at the new EA brush yesterday, definitely isn't just a repackaged OEM brush. I can guarantee there will be no mistaking this brush. It just looks fast, the color of the brush itself is WILD!!!

Can't wait to try some of them!!!!
